"I began my landscaping adventure with plants I bought from Home Depot. I gave Vander Pol a try when I was looking for a unique centerpiece that wasn't a stereotypical palm. I was SHOCKED when I saw that everything I'd bought from Home Depot was 10-25% lower at Vander Pol. Along with the lower prices, the size and health of plants from Vander Pol were better as well. I've looked at Lowes and can only speak for their prices. All higher than Vander Pol as well... Kim, John, and Marie have been INCREDIBLE along the way. I went in with a vision, and they helped me find plants that would help me get there. I never felt like they pushed me toward the expensive plants either. I've made 5+ trips now. Nearly every time I've left having spent less than I expected. Today, I was passing by and stopped to ask for guidance with plants I'd bought last summer. Even though I didn't buy anything new, they were happy help. I feel like I've built a relationship with Kim, John, and Marie that you just don't get much of anymore. I've read so many websites and lost count of how many YouTube videos I've watched. Most of the info they agreed with, but when they didn't, they took the time to explain easier and/or more effective methods to grow and maintain my plants. I can't say it enough. The service at Vander Pol can't be beat. I began the yard with 3 potted plants, and I've built a backyard paradise with a lot of unique plants. They'll even special order if need be. Thank you again Kim, John, and Marie. You guys have been amazing, and I look forward to working with you all again when I take on the front!"

There was an awesome selection and the prices were much better than at a big store. He also gave us some advice on plants which came in extra handy. "Good prices for healthy plants and knowledgeable staff who love gardening! (In comparison I asked the garden staff at Walmart for things twice and the man who’s always there at that Walmart garden section didn’t know what was in his department and actually said,”Did you see it back there?” I.e. look for it yourself.) Vander Pol Nursery is a lot more expansive than it appears from the street. Check it out and adopt a new beautiful plant for your home!"
