Color & Extensions By April

"After I went to an ordeal at a previous salon. I wanted to have extensions. I looked at several salons in the area, and reached out to a couple, which apparently didn't want my business. After a bit of research, I found April, and she has been my stylist for a while. I can tell you that she is the best stylist I've ever had. She actually listens to what the clients want, and works with me in everything I need. She is a sweetheart, and while working on my hair she is always making sure I feel comfortable. She is very knowledgeable, and is always trying to educate me on different extension methods that would work with me, without damaging my hair. She really cares about her clients. 10 stars :)"

"Terrible experience! She did not do a good job blending the extensions into my natural hair or matching my color. When I asked her to fix the color and the cut she was rude and disrespectful. She told me that she was to busy to fix my hair and I would have to wait for a week. I could not wait that long so I am paying another stylist to fix the mess. She is now sending me threatening text messages for writing my honest review. I have never written a bad review before."

"First walking in I was really impressed by the salon! It was beautifully decorated and felt very inviting. April's suite was not cramped at all like some other similar places. April was so welcoming, offering all kinds of things to ensure I was comfortable. After a quick consultation, we ended up doing a conditioning treatment, a light trim and blow out. I am extremely happy with my results, my hair looks so fresh and shiny and feels so very soft! We talked about what treatments I could do in the future to help with my split ends and she gave good suggestions for home care. I look forward to booking more services with April very soon!"

"As someone that’s knocking on the door of being middle aged, I fought and debated with the idea of: “are extensions really for me?” After much contemplation I decided that I would give them a try. Going in, I was extremely nervous and wondered if I would be laughed at for my lack of knowledge and for even attempting to get extensions in the first place. I summoned up the courage and decided to go and see the lady at “Extensions by April”, a new business here in Tampa. I’ve had less than pleasant experiences in the past with other salons doing standard cuts/trims and styling to the point where it was hard to find someone that wouldn’t cancel appointments, or be so far behind that it was impossible to plan something after my hair appointment. Ladies are always on the search for the person that we can call “My Stylist”. To my surprise, I walked in and was treated like I had been there a hundred times before. I was greeted, consulted and eventually scheduled an appointment with a young lady that on top of being a sweetheart, was Hollywood gorgeous. Turns out that it was April herself. Flash forward to my appointment, I was welcomed like I was a lifelong friend, and by the time I left, not only was I blown away by not only the price, but by how great of a job she did. I felt like a queen when I left, and was treated as such when I got home to my husband. Most importantly, now when I’m taking compliments from my girlfriends, I’m thrilled to tell them that I got it done by MY STYLIST April. Thank You so much April! This is a gem for ladies in and around the Tampa area!"
