"Make sure you go in and talk with someone before booking with a stylist. The stylists that have bios stating they have 30+ years of experience aren't always the ones to choose. I won't be returning to this salon. My hair looked incredibly sad, limp and extremely crunchy from massive amounts of mousse. I went in for a shorter haircut in the hopes of more body and ended up leaving with limp, sticky hair with areas that weren't cut even. My hair looked worse than when I walked in. I ended up at SmartStyle at Walmart the next day to have the cut repaired and the perm I was talked into (silly me) for "more body" washed out. I must say that Jennifer at the Walmart salon is AMAZING and will be taking care of my hair from now on. I will wait 3 weeks and return to her for a perm that's done correctly."

"Had an awful experience last week. Went in for a balayage and it did not come at well at all. I called the next day in which the manager requested I come in, when I first arrived I was told that I was undercharged the day before and would have to pay a fee?? The new stylist was very kind, however, there was no truly fixing this without re-attempting the balayage. On the second attempt they only applied toner, the new stylist said that she leaves at 3 requesting to not blow dry my hair (in which I really didn't want her to blow dry my hair considering I was there for 5 hours the first day, and now almost 3 hours the next day). When I went home to style it, my hair did not come out well once again. I did text the new stylist, and she agreed that the only way to fix it was to redo the balayage, in which I asked her why her manager did not do that then considering it was the way to fix it, in which she said she guessed to save the integrity of my hair. At the end of the "re-do" session, I was once again told I would has a $95 fee since I was undercharged the day before, however, the manager did agree to not make me pay. I truly wish they would have just given me a refund, because not only did I have to pay the first day but then I was left obligated to tip the new stylist considering she was making no money by fixing up the hair she did not mess up and had to waste another 3 hours of my time. Highly disappointed in this salon, as two years ago when I originally got a balayage, I went to a different JC penny salon, and they did phenomal. Wish I could say the same about this salon, however, I am out $300 and now have to pay someone else to fix their mess up."
