"We hired Ritzcraft for a total renovation of our pool and patio. Our initial experience was great. Nicole met with us in the office and assisted us in selecting materials. She was very professional and we felt confident the job would be done well. The pavers arrived right on time, as promised, and were very good quality. We selected shell stone pavers at a substantial premium. Unfortunately, the subcontractors installing them proved to be a challenge from the start. They left copious amounts of garbage all over our driveway including piles of sand and empty water bottles. We received complaints from neighbors and the HOA practically every day. They tossed the pavers around chipping them and cut into tile that they had already laid out several times (see attached photos).They also installed the spillover incorrectly at a downward angle spilling water everywhere (see attached) Once the work was completed, we asked that the manager, Michael, come to inspect the site. He did have the spillover situation corrected and some of the chipped tiles replaced We asked that they fill the large gap around the coping as well. Unfortunately, it was done with sand which ended up coming out all over as soon as it rained and created a mess (photo attached) We had to power wash the deck to get rid of it. My husband finally asked to speak to the owner. Dave reached out once and my husband was working. Instead of a call back we received an invoice for electrical work that was not performed by Ritzcraft but was instead done by our contractor. They are now placing a mechanic’s lien on our property which we will to dispute. To sum up our experience, the work was mediocre and not worth $60k and we now have a legal dispute over a $1,900 invoice. Response to owner: Perhaps instead of running your business based on "hunches" you ought to visit some sites and see what is really going on. There are many Yelp reviews noting the very same issues we reported to you. Also, super sneaky to have your friends write phony reviews to boost your rating."
