"My recent visit to Piacere News & Cafe at Aventura Mall left much to be desired, particularly in terms of service. While the coffee was satisfactory, the overall experience was marred by rude and pushy behavior from the waitress. When it came time to settle the bill and I requested the check, I was met with unnecessary aggression from the waitress, who insisted on a tip, citing the need for the team to clean and wash dishes. This blatant attempt at soliciting a tip left a sour taste in my mouth, and I found no reason to leave any gratuity. Such behavior is unacceptable and completely undermines the dining experience. I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone seeking quality service and hospitality. Piacere News & Cafe has a long way to go in terms of customer service, and until improvements are made, I will be taking my business elsewhere."

"Piacere in english means pleasure. But let me tell you that the employees at this place do not give any "pleasurable"service to their customers. Let's start with the young Argentinian waiter who was borderline rude to us, very serious and unfriendly. With a stuck up attitude and a rude and unfriendly service. The place was almost empty and when we finished our coffees, smoothies, croissants, etc. they were rushing us to leave. The waiter came twice to ask if we wanted anything else when we said no, he said then you can only stay a little longer but we need the table. Why? There were at least 20 empty tables around us! We were 5 people, paying for our food and drinks, we stayed around one hour! Then he sent another older women to tell us if we wanted anything else, once again rushing us to leave. Why? I would understand if you need the table since the place is full but with all your coffee shop empty you still rush your customers and then make them pay an obligatory 20% service fee for a rude and disappointing service. Never again... oh and I forgot to mention the chocolate croissant tasted like cheap margarine, the berry "smoothie" was a purple liquidy super sweet watery substance nothing compared to a smoothie...and it was bad. Not worth it!!"

"Great atmosphere, liked the vibe. I lo e coffee, and I try to get coffee at different places. Staff was polite and friendly. Stuff came out fast, nice presentation. I'd definitely go back."

"We ordered coffee and cake and asked to pack one cake to goo. Of course, they didn’t unpack the cake. At home, it turned out that the cake was not the one ordered; the package contained an old cheesecake covered with mold. It was terrible!"
