"Edited: Thank you for the reply, Shaka. That is helpful to know, because there were at least 3 other vehicles that pulled up while we were checking it out and verifying hours that also walked up to see the same thing we did. Just a suggestion: it would be really, really helpful and nice to put a few signs up on the doors to say that you’re sold out, so it doesn’t just look like you aren’t keeping your posted hours. We drove from another city to try this and had no idea you needed to get there earlier… figured coming 3 hours before posted close would at least get something. Also, your IG for both the ice cream and donuts haven’t been updated in over a year - this further “confirmed” for us that maybe something happened and you were only mobile or closed. Even a weekly or bi-weekly update is there is informative, and a quick story posted to let everyone know when you’ve sold out for the day would be incredible. Adjusted my review for the time being, we’ll try to get back over here to give it another shot since we know how it works a little better. Original review: This place is definitely closed."

"A lovely donut place. The basic glazed is better than national chains, IMO. It's worth a 20-minute drive from where I stayed. The lady who worked solo when I visited was really nice, polite and welcoming."

"heard about this donut shop while visiting orlando so came by to try a few of their donuts. the lady at the counter was helpful. came to try the original glaze but they were sold out already by 11am. she recommended the donut holes as the glaze was similar. we also got the aloha fritter and cronut. we enjoyed our donuts in the store, there was plenty of seating with a self serve counter in the back for water and cutlery. they also do ice cream here. the apple fritter was our favourite. it was crispy on the outside and not overly sweet. it was cinnamon forward with a hint of coconut. i would definitely get this again. the cronut was good but could be fluffier with more layers on the inside. the donut holes were our least favourite. they were very sweet and did not taste as fresh as the other donuts we got."

"We tried Shaka Donuts for the first time earlier this week and we were so excited to taste these beautiful donuts. We ordered a half dozen to take home. We tried a croissant donut, guava donut, brown sugar/pecan, peanut butter and jelly, apple fritter/ pineapple, and a Samoa donut. We enjoyed the toppings on all of them. The donuts themselves weren’t bad, but they were pretty bland. The restaurant itself was really nice and so was the staff member we interacted with. It was fun watching the families come in and seeing the excitement in their faces to see these beautiful donuts. For our taste, we don’t need to return, but I’m sure that many others may really enjoy Shaka."

"Came here last hour for BUY TWO GET TWO FREE donuts. Sugary, but a bit hard due to the hour we bought them. We like coming here for ice cream more! Service very friendly. Would recommend as an ICE CREAM PLACE!"
