"What a wonderful surprise! A fantastic meal and a great time. I admit to being a little nervous about the menu (especially with a sorta picky kid). Some of the dishes sounded exotic and hard to imagine in advance, but whew! Everything was so so good! So good that I forgot to take pictures of the mains or dessert! So, only a picture of the appetizer and a cocktail, sorry. In addition to the great food, there are PRINCESSES! 5 of them! And they can vary. We got to meet Aurora, Belle, Snow White, Tiana and Ariel. The food was served family style and all you care to enjoy. Pictured are the Field Greens Salad with Lingonberry Vinaigrette and Lefse with Cardamom-Cinnamon Butter and a Blue Viking Cocktail. Other highlights are the Salmon with Herbed Butter, Traditional KjØttkake: Norwegian Meatballs, the Green Beans and the Red Cabbage. Be careful of the lights, they can mess with your camera."

"A nice restaurant and an excellent choice for parents with princesses This is the restaurant in the Disney EPCOT park located in the Norway section. It is on the East side of the World Showcase Lagoon. I wanted to see the Candlelight processional and bought a package deal that included a meal at this restaurant. This is one of the places that I have never tried in all of my visits to this park. We had reservations and it is best to make them before you get there to ensure you can get in as this is a popular place for parents with princesses. You check in at the entrance to the Location. They will call you forward and escort you in when your table is ready. The restaurant is styled after a castle with large rooms with about 6 tables in each room. The cost is high ($67/person) and the food is Ikea-like with meatballs, salmon, chicken, and dumplings. The waitress was nice. The food was acceptable. The real draw for this was that the Disney Princesses come into your room and visit EVERY table. So if you have kids that want to meet their idols, take pictures, and interact with them, this is YOUR place. Every princess visited every table. They were dressed beautifully and stayed in character the entire time. Highly recommend it for parents with princesses."

"Average run of the mill typical breakfast fare. Good selection of pastries, fruit, and Norweign style waffles. Princesses arrive one at a time with the sound of a trumpet and mingle at all the tables. Was disappointed in the cheesy potato casserole but enjoyed the scrambled eggs and waffles. Also enjoyed the chocolat filled pastry. Purchased this reservation to secure a spot at the Candlelight processional. Upcharge was at least $16.00 on top of buffet pricing plus tax. Food isn't worth it for this much money, however, the reservation did pay off later as we were able to enter the processional without an extensive wait. Mediocre at best. Great service and beautiul atmosphere in a Norway castle. Met 3 princesses so I'm at least content with my visit."

"We felt very lucky to snatch last minute reservations as we were trying for a couple of months! The character experience was amazing for the kids. It saved us hours of waiting in line ups for the princesses to show up at their posts outside so it was worth every penny. The food was OK. I felt they could maybe give us choices to pick from it would have been better. Especially for the kids, since there were most items they did not eat. Our group was larger (7) and while some of us enjoyed most items, others ate very little."

"If you ever yearn for a spellbinding blend of authentic Norwegian fare and comforting culinary classics in the heart of Disney, prepare to be enchanted by this haven. Here, the banquet is plentiful and serves as a bountiful testament to satisfaction, with each dish crafted to delight. The meatballs and mashed potatoes in particular, cast a gastronomic spell of their own, evoking an echo of homely comfort. A sprinkle of fairy-tale magic is added to the dining experience as our daughters were greeted by the gracious presence of four Disney Princesses, each more graceful than the last. The splendor might seem slightly princely, but the priceless glow of joy it ignited in our girls' eyes affirmed that it was worth every enchanted coin. As for the sweet finale, the dessert was a delightful cascade of decadence. Our server, a native of Norway - as are all their servers - spun a personal tale as delicious as the rice pudding we savored. The story carried us to festive gatherings in her homeland, where this creamy delicacy is a cherished tradition. The evening thus wove together taste and tales, whisking us off on a magical journey in the heart of Disney."
