Cafe 4

"AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. You have been warned. I went in with my family as one in my party wanted pizza. We ordered separately but at the same time. The pizza came in about 5 min and was consumed while I was waiting on my order for a salad and pasta. I waited 20 min in total at the quick service Resturant before asking for a refund as I didn’t want to wait any longer as waste the day waiting. By the way, you can only mobile order, no exceptions. When I went to ask for a refund one of the servers behind the counter proceeded to have an argument with me saying “THESE THINGS TAKE TIME” I was shocked as I had simply said I’d like a refund as I don’t want to wait any longer and miss out on rides. She then proceeded to continue to argue with me on why did I bother to order. Even the supervisor had to tell her to leave. Avoid this place"

"Food was great! So much variety and truly, everything was flavorful from the pasta to the mini burgers to the pizza to the macaroons and so much more.. several salad options and more. For the character meal, each character comes to your table and then you get pictures.. they were warm and interactive and were a big hit with my husband! They were all very interactive and willing to take multiple pictures with the professional photographers (you get those pics for free/included) and your cell phone.. We had a good time. I do wish they would introduce and do a cute skit first…. But they just show up at your table, mid-bite. lol … they were very respectful but still with for an intro."

"Excellent character dinner, food was great, the wait staff took great care of us. We only got three pictures with the characters compared to others that had at least triple the pictures."

"I work in food service, so I generally give the benefit of the doubt when things go wrong at places like this, but this was the most inexcusably bad service and food I've had at any theme park ever. First, the ordering system is extremely confusing. The mobile order didn't have all of the items on the menu so we had to place our order at the register; after waiting about 15 minutes the employees bring us the food. The whole time we were sitting there, multiple people kept walking up to the buffet style area to pick up food and had to be turned away because that's not how you order. In addition, the person working at the register chose what fruit bowls we got. The menu just says "fruit bowl" and there are apparently watermelon and pineapple bowls. She arbitrarily chose 1 watermelon and 2 pineapple bowls without ever asking which ones we wanted (we didn't even know there were multiple options). The fruit bowls then did not even show up on our first tray and we had to ask a second time to get those. As you can see from the pictures, the food was laughably bad. I don't know how any food service employee could put that breadstick on a plate and think to themselves "this is acceptable to serve." The bread was as hard as a rock and looked like it had been run through a meat grinder before making it to my plate. Honestly impressed that the lady dropping off our food was able to do so with a straight face. As you can see in the second photo, some of the pineapple was also rotten. The pasta was fine I guess, but the whole time I was eating I was just thinking about how I'd probably be fired at my job if I ever served food that looked anything like this."

"Cafe 4 is a good place to get a quick lunch at Universal. I ate the chicken parm combo sandwich, which came with a side Caesar salad. Both tasted pretty good. Their ordering system is a bit confusing though because you have to send the requests through the app instead of ordering to an actual person. Besides that, everything else was satisfactory. They’re also very allergy friendly and able to accommodate to just about anything. Overall, I’d recommend going to Cafe 4 for a good lunch."
