"Pros - Saturday afternoon still plenty of parking - Friendly They have scavenger hunt for kids. - nice gift shop Lots of interesting books and souvenirs. Cons - Pricing for Adults: $15 is acceptable, but Children 6-11: $7 is a bit too much. - air circulation is bad. an old dusty smell full of the room. —————— We bought ticket at the entrance. As a diver we find it enjoyable to know the history of diving. The entire room is not spacious. It’s not too crowded, only one other family group, so we can enjoy all the exhibition slowly. We spend almost 2 hrs there. We all had a good time."
"As a person who is an admit “non scuba diver” despite being in a family of scuba diving fans, I had zero expectations for our stop at the museum. Oh how wrong I was! This is a fantastic collection of history and objects. Displayed so thoughtfully and creatively you can’t help but be drawn in. They have interactive elements, information shared in ways that most all ages could get something out of it. It was honestly a highlight of 3 weeks spent traveling all over Florida."
"An incredible and well put-together museum about a niche topic! It's engaging, well formatted, and simply fun to learn about. There are numerous exhibits that I found interesting but I especially liked the wall of dive helmets narrated by one of the founders of the museum, Dr. Joe Bauer. It's worth a visit, even with no interest in diving"
"One of the coolest museums I have ever been to for drivers and non divers alike. Lots of things to interact with. The staff were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed!"
"I was honestly blown away by this museum. Incredible collection, laid out really well, and all the content is engaging, clear, and concise. It is small, but we spent over an hour soaking it all up. Well worth the price of admission!"
