Spanish Springs Lanes

"A bowler’s bowling alley with a full service pro shop. New owners are refreshing it from top to bottom but food and drink prices have gone up. They cater to league players."

"Spanish Springs and Fiesta have been bought by AMF. Sadly, conditions are starting to decline. Cleanliness behind the bowling circles are not nearly as well-kept as they were only a couple months ago. The restrooms are not kept up either...floors were littered from overfilled trash can and the paper towel dispenser was empty (wonder if restaurant employees are even washing their hands). Most of the long-time employees seem to have quit and the new employees don't realize this is a retirement community. The new employees need to learn to treat the regular customers like adults and not children that frequent other AMF bowling alleys. Can only hope AMF quickly figures out these issues before many regular bowlers leave and both bowling centers become hangouts for the party crowds that will most likely cause friction within The Villages. UPDATE: I visited this location Friday afternoon to watch the high school kids bowl. Unfortunately, the same conditions existed. Trash, empty glasses on tables, chairs all over the place. Once again, the paper towel dispenser in the bathroom was empty, water splashed everywhere, and even half-empty beverage glasses left on the counter. Sorry AMF...seems like you've lost control over this center and you've only been here a month. Update 9/25/2023: I am sad to report things have gotten worse at this location. All the long-time local employees are gone and about a third of the league bowlers left too. Most of the current employess lack any real customer service initiative or interest. The laneside snackbar window has closed requiring bowlers to go through the restaurant to order/pickup any food or drinks. Even though the restaurant is mostly empty now, wait times are long and the prices are absurd. While they have replaced lane surfaces, the pinsetters are in serious need of repairs. Malfunctions are happening far too often...sometimes requiring bowlers to move all their gear to other lanes or come back another day. IMHO, at this rate, AMF Spanish Springs/McCall's may not be in business much longer. Very sad to see this happening to what was once a jewel of entertainment around the Square."

"Always a fun place to visit. Very friendly staff and drinks availability makes it nice to keep going at the games. We were able to get a spot despite how busy it was. We live it here and will be back for sure."

"I visited this bowling alley while visiting from Delaware. I must say how fantastic it felt to bowl in a house that is well taken care of. The staff were very helpful and super friendly. What more can a person say , then a great job to all that work there. A big shout out also to the pro shop for listening to my concerns about my drill layout and hand issues I was experiencing from how it was drilled back in Delaware. I can't say in words how grateful I am to both guys in the pro shop who worked on fixing my balls to get me back to bowling well and enjoying the sport again. You set the bar high for any other bowling alley. I rank you up there with South Point in Vegas. Great job to everyone ! Looking forward to moving there just for the bowling."

"Beautiful looking lanes well kept. 6.95 three games and 2.80 for shoes go have some fun and exercise. Staff are super friendly. Great place rain or shine attached to restaurant McCall's tavern with live entertainment on stage"
