"Great place to take your dog for a walk. There is also a spot at the beginning of the park where you can launch a kayak or canoe. There is limited parking, however, and the parking spaces are not long enough for those who use a trailer to haul their items."
"Very peaceful quite stroll through some beautiful Florida natural landscape. Nicely paved path shared with bycycles, but plenty of room for both, and the people are polite. There is a kayak boat launch to the Rainbow River and the water is clear as glass. Lots of parking throughout the week but more crowded on weekends and holidays especially in spring summer and fall. You will see lots of wildlife birds, otters and occasionally a gator! There are portable restroom facilities. You will find benches all along the trail and about halfway, there is a beautiful bridge overlooking the river with spectacular views."
"I was able to go paddling without having to pay any fees. It was very clean, clear, and beautiful water. This will most likely be my main place to take a quick ride on my board."
"We had a great time here. A well-maintained paved trail with plants and local information on the road side. Most shaded. The views along the way are gorgeous. Parking is limited considering it is a popular site."
"In addition to a kayak or tube launch area (no swimming allowed), you can access the Dunnellon trail here and connect to the Withlacochee trail too. There is no drinking water but there are three port-a-potties and some benches. The parking lot is kind of small and does get filled up at times. But its free, so can't complain!"
