"Absolutely next level customer service at the bike shop. I’ve been there 3 times and the generosity and attention to detail from these folks is wild. Each time they’ve gone above and beyond to be helpful and truthful, going out of their way to take good care of my bike and answer questions even when they’re busy. It’s the little things like adding lube here or wiping the chain down there that they did without me even asking and without charging me extra. Excellent team there - signed up for a membership just because of that! Strongly recommend any bike folks to stop by and see for yourself."

"We purchased 2 Ebikes and a carrier for our truck in Gainesville FL while traveling. Had a couple issues with the purchase and stopped in the Tampa REI to get them resolved. What a great team they have. Phil and Chris are so knowledgeable and helpful. We took a lot of their time and they were there for us through all the questions and concerns. Not only were the issues corrected, they helped us with installation of brackets, new axel for dog carts. The service we received was top notch. Couldn't be happier that we made this purchase with REI!!"

"Subject: Disappointing Experience at REI Co-op with Manager Cindy Smith I recently had a highly unsatisfactory experience at REI Co-op, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment, particularly with the store manager, Cindy Smith. My interaction with the store left me frustrated and dissatisfied, and it is unfortunate that the manager's conduct contributed significantly to my negative impression and cancellation of a $700 product. First and foremost, Cindy Smith exhibited a lack of professionalism and customer service skills. I approached her with a simple inquiry about a product, and instead of providing helpful information, she seemed disinterested and dismissive. Her demeanor was unwelcoming, and it was clear that she was not interested in assisting me or addressing my concerns. Furthermore, the overall "uniformed corporate training" was not properly exercised and/or upheld based on her actions. The employees appeared to reflect her attitude, as I observed a lack of enthusiasm and a general disinterest in assisting customers throughout the store. It was evident that a poor management style had permeated the entire staff, negatively impacting the customer experience. This lack of attention to detail reflects poorly on the management team, with Cindy Smith ultimately responsible for the store's overall presentation. Overall, my experience at REI Co-op, under the management of Cindy Smith, was far from satisfactory. The lack of professionalism, unhelpful attitude, and overall disorganization left me with a negative impression of both the employees and its management. I hope that REI takes customer feedback seriously and addresses these issues to ensure a more positive shopping experience for future customers."

"First time visiting and I am a fan. The store is beautifully laid out and clean. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable! Love that every outdoor activity is touched here and you don’t have to go to multiple outdoor stores since some seem to only carry “Florida” outdoor sport supplies. REI is about sustainable products/brands and I fully support this. Wish there was one closer to me."
