CMX Downtown at The Gardens 16 & IMAX

"Went to a 4:50 shpw on a Monday and couldn't even sit in our reserved seats because they area around them was so dirty. Popcorn and napkins on the floor. I ended up likely talking someone else's reserved seat by the time I found some with no Popcorn in them. Even when I found cleaner seats, the seat next to me had dirty napkins in the cup holder and the floor was not swept."

"Awesome movie theater! Staff was accommodating for an issue I had with my tickets and fixed the problem without any issues which was nice. Prices are reasonable. The seats are some of the nicest well kept recliners I have been to in a theater which says a lot about a theater. The moving seats they have are pretty neat. Have only used them once and it’s actually a lot better than I had expected them to be. They don’t move the entire movie. Only during certain scenes. Can’t beat going to the movies at this location based on everything that is nearby it including food and shopping. Definitely one of the better movie theaters I have ever attended."

"The lobby had buttery popcorn all over the floor. The attendant at the snack bar looked like she hated her job. The auditorium and my seat were dirty with food and soiled napkins from the previous viewers. And my seat was broken and did not recline. Possibly one of the least inviting theater I have visited in the last five years. It feels like management is not using enough staffers and/or not enrolling them in making people feel welcome. I will not return."

"My first time here . I read all the terrible reviews. Which caused me pause . However this place is transforming into one of the best theatre,s I have ever been in . I saw no evidence of all the other reviews. Place was Spick and span clean. Super large lobby with a giant concision stand . A beautiful bar . This place is immensely large . The theater we were in was awesome with recliner seating and tiered levels so you're not looking at the back of someone,s head . My only problem was the ignorant people who refused to shut up . But we easily moved away from them. It's the patrons that are the problem. Not the theatre I give 5 stars to. Remember the down town complex is under construction and only one elevator is functioning. So yes it's on the second floor. And a stair way may be needed. Parking is easy but you will need to enter from inside the beautiful plaza . You're always going to get complaints from people. And I've met a lot of them here in south Florida. But being from Hershey, Pa . We are used to it . I highly recommend this place. But than I'm just a small town country boy ."
