"Nice course that is well maintained, longer than most, lots of sand hazards, not much water to work around! Larger than most practice area! It's only con is always crowded in season with the residents that are," not so friendly,"or fun!"

"Recently played 18 holes for $55, with a cart. The course is more challenging than others in the area, but the stated green fees are not, in my opinion, a good value. While the tees and greens are in good condition, tee-to-green is apparently starved for water and is parched. As a result, most fairway shots were tight lies."

"Our daughter and her husband invited us to go have dinner at the Albatros at the Clubhouse for New Year's. My wife and I arrived earlier, and we chose our table, very few people!! As we were directed to our table, we noticed that they had extremely bright lights above the dinner tables!! I asked the waitress if these could be turned down, to which she stated that they could not!! Soon our daughter and her husband joined us, and as we discussed the menu and ambiance, we decided that we we didn't want to stay, and decided to go elsewhere. My last review about about the Clubhouse bar and service was excellent. But unfortunately their idea of a New Year's dinner celebration, by the way they were only open till 10:00 pm, was completely disappointing. I can understand that their clientele and focus are the daytime golfers and. But if you decide to have a New Year's dinner, the ambiance has to be focused on a "elegant " evening dinner and in line with your "New Year's menu". Sorry but this evening was a complete failure!!!"

"Coming from NE Texas I was very happy with the condition of the course. The staff is very friendly. The carts are new and well maintained. For less than $50 I was pleasantly surprised. I also enjoyed the wildlife and beautiful landscaping. Seeing my first Florida Gator was a bonus."

"I have now played this course several times since March. When I stopped playing here in 2016 it was because the course was a disaster top to bottom. But now what a change!! Hard to believe its the same place. Excellent conditions and still improving!! Hats off the the course manager J.J. knows what he is doing and it really shows. The price is also very reasonable, the restaurant is awesome and staff is very friendly. Best course in Highlands County in my opinion."
