Skatepark of Tampa

"There’s one thing that I definitely do not like about my experience with spot of Tampa. Me being a Bmx or there’s only two days out of the week that we can ride the park. I don’t think it’s fair that skaters are allowed to be there on the days that the bikers are there, because there are too many skaters compared to bikers, which means bikers don’t get their chance to ride the park like we paid to do. I found myself sitting there waiting for a chance to get a run-in because there’s just so many skateboarders that are going back-and-forth in the park that bikers don’t get their chance to ride the park We paying for? To sit there and watch, skateboarders skate? I get that you guys need to make your money to keep the park open but I also think that if you’re gonna allow Bmx on only two days of the week that it should only be for bikers those two days."

"I've been going to the skatepark of Tampa since 1993 . The Pro skateboard contest is legendary its one of the best contest around when it comes to skateboarding. The reason why I like the contest is because it's put on by skateboarders and the vibe is always chill . Big Thanks to Brian Shaffer the owner of the Spot I've attended the Pro Skate contest since 1996 all of the Pro and AM have been incendiary such an amazing time. If you like to skateboard or interested in skateboarding it's a great place to learn and to experience the skateboard culture."

"Been going here since I was in high school and now my son goes all the time and I love it. Such a great vibe and great people to be around. I LOVE stopping just to feel the vibe and see the younger kids skate around reminds me of my good old days."

"I really want to love this shop. But… so far, they’re making it difficult. No matter how much I love skating and skate culture, I just can’t get behind not standing behind a customer service policy and in this case, their return policy. Long story short, I bought the wrong shoe from them, returned in within 14 days of purchase unworn and hardly touched, and they randomly charged me a 15% restock fee. No where on their website not the CARD THEY INCLUDE with each purchase (see attached pic) does it state anything about a restocking fee. I’ve asked that they refund this to my account and so far, they’ve done nothing. If this changes, I’ll update my review."

"We were in town from Tennessee and my 13 year old son had to check it out. This place is Awesome! Shout out to Rocco for giving us a tour and my son was in Skateboard Heaven! Tons of cool skateboards,shoes and apparel. We will definitely be back this summer! Staff was also very friendly and helpful. Thank you for making my sons day!"
