"Centered I'm the heart of San Marco lies Balis Park. It is a small but scenic area with two fountains and a large gazebo. There's seating scattered around in shady areas. This is a popular location for people to take pictures."

"My Brother-In-Law (Hugh Bradford Nicholson) made these Lions using the Wax-Escape Method. He carved each one out of wax. Then made a mold in sand. Heated the sand to melt the wax out. Then, poured molten bronze in to form the lions in metal. Each lion weighs approximately 800 lbs."
