Payne Park Playground

"Very nice and clean, huge free park for kids based on a circus theme. Very cute. Ample parking, clean washrooms, and a snack shop. Skateboarding and lots of other activities in a very nice upscale urban area."

"Its huge! There is so much to do here. You can walk the kids can play and they even have a small cafe. It's near the sheriff's department so you can feel safe as the kids run around. The skate park is nice if you have older kids. There is even a small water thing for the kids to run under on hot days. There is a nice walking trail and ponds as well as jungle gyms for smaller kids and bigger kids too. The parking is decent and there are a lot of spots."

"Amazing circus-themed playground in downtown Sarasota with ample parking and a small water feature. Separate aras for bigs and littles and a host of ‘motion’ equipment for kids who are more advanced. EXCELLENT!!!"

"Wonderful beautifully kept park for kids of all ages. There are benches and shade trees all along the concrete walkways. The patrons are all friendly and the children of all ages seem to get along and play together. There is a cafe up front that serves delicious lunch foods and drink. They even have beer and wine. Friday nights they have Music in the Park with live music beginning at 7pm I believe. In summary it’s a beautiful,peaceful place to take children or yourself for a nice walk and maybe lunch at the Cafe in the Park."

"Overall the boys really this park. Great shade, benches, and equipment. They have a great under 3 section. The ground is fake grass or padded, so that nice. There is a small cafe, which was great. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bathrooms do not have a changing table. Which was very surprising to me since the park caters to small children."
