"A very small place but packed with so much interesting and informative facts and history! The staff is very polite and helpful! We had a great experience here on a rainy day! And it's Free to visit!"
"Ms. Shannon was awesome! She got the kids involved with questions and participating in a scavenger hunt, etc. They used every inch of space very well, filling walls with historical information. Very nice experience."
"Great little museum with local history. Nice friendly staff! It was very interesting! There is a room all about hurricanes including a video, fishing history, time capsules and more. Beautiful flowers and a place to walk around out back."
"Very cute and well maintained museum. My 11&7 year olds both enjoyed it - as a homeschooling mom, I appreciated this quiet, free place to spend an hour and a half learning all we could while catching a break from the rain on vacation! Thank you for providing this treasure to the community! A very well maintained facility and super friendly ladies working inside. Be sure to catch the documentary that plays to appreciate the full impact of Hurricane Ivan!"
"Excellent museum, friendly and informative staff, looks small outside, but inside, the space was well used displaying a larger than expected amount of interesting historical photos, artifacts, and stories. Well worth our time, learned a lot about the region's history, life, and formative forces. Beautiful butterfly garden as well!"
