"This is a great little diner. Surprising it wasn't busier on a Saturday afternoon. Portions were big, price was good and the waitress was attentive but didn't hover. Be a spot I go back to."

"The omlettes were good and hot. Coffee was also good. Service on the other hand was awful. Alisha (waitress) had a less than kind demeanor. I had seen there was a special on the board named after someone. When I asked what the special was (keep in mind Im not a regular) her response was " Its what it says it is".. in a disrespectful tone. I was stunned, I think I just replied "Oh, okay.". Had the coffee not been delivered to the table I would have turned around and walked out. My feelings were hurt. All I did was ask a question. I think the waitress knew she responded the wrong way because when she came back to take our order she asked me if I was okay. No. I wasnt okay. I didn't deserve to be talked to that way or in that tone. Barbara who provided refills of coffee was kind. So much that I thanked her for being kind when we were leaving. I know people have bad days but I have a feeling this is just the way Alisha treats people and we just need to take it or leave it. I will leave it. Its not okay. People will always remember how you treat them. Saturday breakfast spots are something we look forward to. Im not going to essentialy pay to be disrespected. Especially if I did nothing to deserve it."

"Great atmosphere. Delicious food (i recommend the hash browns ). Our server Alisha was super accommodating and quick to welcome us. Very sweet lady who knew the menu inside and out ! Thank you for making our time here at 1st street diner a wonderful experience. Well definitely be back again."

"Stopped by this little joint to grab a bite. My husband and I are fans of "mom and pop" restaurants. Upon entering, the place was packed, and it was a Monday morning. That's always a good sign. The restaurant is very small and the tables are really close together, so if you like some space, this might not be the place for you. Our waitress was decent enough. She didn't make conversation. I'm not saying it's a requirement, but it's definitely a plus when they are friendly. We waited about 15 minutes before our meal came out, which is pictured. Pretty basic and expected for a place like this, but no problem. Our total for all that was $29. I'd say if you enjoy this type of restaurant, definitely stop by and check it out. Everything was okay. Nothing was show-stopping, but you do fill your belly up."
