Gigi's Pet Spa

"I went to Gigi’s Pet Spa to have my Himalayan cat groomed. The lady who was going to groom him seemed spaced out but I let her have my kitty anyway because the owner assured us she was fine. I asked for an all over trim, shave in the butt area and around his neck where there were knots. When I went to pick him up, nothing had been done except a very rough, poor shaving job around his neck. My kitty was very upset and looked awful. I paid my $65 and told the owner I did not get what I asked for. She said I could come back again, no charge, with the same groomer. I declined and found a pet salon that actually knew how to groom."

"I have been going here for 5 yrs and felt very comfortable with bringing my dog here and always did a great job.However the last grooming that I had there with my dog was early September of this year and was scheduled for Oct at the end of month was her availability due to the Hurricane I had a time written on my calendar as I wrote it while on the phone with her so my time and her were different therefore I was an hour late but I never got a call to see if I was coming. So for 5 yrs I never just not showed up for my appointment so I called and left a message on the machine and the next day she called me back. I was a little upset that I didn’t get a call on my scheduled day, I called another place and took my dog there. I called yesterday to see if I could schedule an appointment for Dec and never received a call back regarding my message so today I was out so I figured that I would stop in to make an appointment and she said NO that my dog is getting to hard to do. So I’m the big picture my October appointment she probably didn’t call me to see if I was coming because she didn’t want to do my dog and didn’t return my call for the same reason. What happen to customer service? After 5 yrs I guess I was wrong about her after all! It’s quite sad. She should have just been upfront and honest but I guess that’s how this world is anymore!"

"We used Gigi’s for 3.5 years and had appointments every 6 weeks. They did okay…..I would never say wonderful but okay. We had one stressful week and yes our fault we missed an appointment. Gigi’s said we have to pay for full appointment ($110 for 2 dogs) before we could reschedule. I could understand a missed appointment fee but full price…..we have moved elsewhere. I think we are going to like the new place much better anyway!!! Gigi’s staff has never been friendly and the new place is super friendly!"

"Bring your dog here if you want them to come home wet, anxious, and butchered, and for you to be upcharged because they didn't expect the dog to be big even though you described the dogs weight and size."
