"We regularly visit this spot since we've lived in Nocatee for over 5 years now. we LOVE this place! the philly is phenomenal and the shrimp and grits is LEGIT southern! it's definitely the best shrimp and grits I've ever had - ever! I will say, they aren't perfect - the calamari appetizer literally tasted like little pieces of deep fried plastic. they were totally dry and flavor less - maybe we caught them on a bad calamari day, or they need to change their supplier. They do have a full bar which is literally open all day. some days if i just want to get away from the office for a couple of hours, i can setup my laptop and earbuds at the bar and work remotely from there - they have WIFI! Lunch specials menu is always a treasure trove of goodies from the hamburger wrap, to the awesome salads, or pull in a menu item from dinner to tie you in the rest of the day. service was definitely Southern hospitality with the "darlins/hunny/baby" southern twang mixed in. the portions were definitely on par. you won't be leaving there hungry, that's for sure. drive up in your golf cart, plenty of parking!"

"Excellent restaurant. I gave 4 stars out of 5 because my son had a hair in his food, but the server kindly corrected the error and apologized. We have eaten at this restaurant about three other times and every time it has been spectacular as well. The hair wasn't a huge issue, as we know sometimes things happen. The menu items are unique and delicious. Servers are always hard working and kind.. I highly recommend South Kitchen and Spirits."

"The shrimp and grits was outstanding. The Gouda is infused throughout the grits, making every bite tasty. The shrimp was perfectly done. The kale was a nice touch and the sausage was also tasty. The steak sandwich was flavorful. The sweet pita fries were average, seemed like they had been sitting around. The service was outstanding. One better, would be to have more beer options. Would definitely come back."
