"We stopped in this hotel for 2 nights in Feb 2024 prior to our RCI Icon of the Seas cruise. Good location with our being on the beach but way too far to the port and famous South beach area (1 hour on a bus). Rooms were OK, but nothing special and in need of a good clean/ redecoration. Corridors smelled of marijuana which was not very nice Hotel restaurant was hardly ever open. How've the most annoying/ frustrating thing was the rude manager - George- who, upon checking out informed us of a $25per day surcharge for use of pool, beach chairs and 25% off restaurant dining and wifi. Having not been made aware of this by our agent nor the receptionist on arrival, we questioned this unexpected fee to be told that it is in the small print... as well as belittling my girlfriend when she asked to see this. It then took him 5 minutes to find something in the small print which he tried to pass of as a clean explanation of the additional fees, which he then had to accept were very "ambiguous" as it stated that the fee was included within room fee. He stubbornly and unwilling refused to remove this fee, given also that he admitted the ambiguity and we were left helpless as he had already had charged this to our card. The experience left us with a very bitter taste to our stay in Miami. We never did use any of the facilities for which we were charged."
"This place is the worst Hilton that I ever stayed in my life. After being a loyal member for more than 15 years that included 8 years in a travel job I was just appalled by this place. It is another resort brand “branded as Hilton” but they don’t care about anything Hilton. They advertise services on the listing that they don’t offer such as Room Service, their check-in time is 4 PM with everything in their “resort services” closing at 5 PM with pool area closing at dusk… effectively 6 PM. I reach out to the front desk they really didn’t care. They later told me the manager would be in later, but the manager never reach out. They also never apply the correct rate that I reserved which was strange. I was left hoping that Hilton will correct the mistake later we will see. They place was pretty much condos made into a hotel. Hilton if I wanted an ABNB I would get it myself. This place destroyed any brand loyalty I don’t want anything to do with Hilton it again. If they cannot ensure their brand gives you a simple standard experience there is no reason to stick to a brand."
"This place is incredibly disappointing. It's essentially Hilton managing a bunch of AirBNBs in their tower. In other words, all of the units have owners and you are "renting" their rooms. Had I known that I most likely wouldn't have stayed here. Rooms are old, worn and really beat up. Thankfully we didn't have a car as the parking is a fortune. We have friends staying at the hotel with us. Two people had rooms with broken air conditioning and another friend had cockroaches in their bathroom. If you have your heart set on this location I would consider other options."
"Good location right on the beach. But the hotel is dated, rooms are outdated and tired. It’s a basic hotel . Spa is non existent. Parking is expensive / valet only $38 a day and they scratched my car. Found a roach in the room as well. Definitely better options in area. Location was excellent thou. Everything is walking distance and the staff is very nice."
"This hotel is located on a beautiful piece of miami beach, you are more North so it's relatively quiet and peaceful. The hotel is a little dated and our room wasn't the cleanest but it's what you could expect in a tropical area. Our thermostat was located outside of the room but I think we might have been the only room like that. I would stay here again, having a kitchen and balcony overlooking the city and beach was perfect. When you check in you get free warm cookies and they are quiet tasty. The house keepers constantly attend your room when you have the "do not disturb" sign up, so make sure you lock your door with the extra lock so they don't walk in on you. The staff at the beach/pool and reception were nice. We had an issue with our fridge and within an hour they swapped it out. The drinks at the pool are strong so you get your money's worth for the cost. We did not eat here because of all the great local eats nearby. Overall I was happy to stay here, it was great to walk to the grocery store and get Cubano sandwiches at the local joint across the street. If you are looking for a good deal for the price in Miami this is the place to go."
