Home2 Suites by Hilton Fernandina Beach Amelia Island

"Service and location were excellent. Not far from the beach and close to many restaurants and shopping. The hotel itself is very nice and well kept. The staff are very nice and friendly. They did renovate the rooms, and they removed the sofabed and that extra space that I'm accustomed to see in a Home2Suites. It wasn't a big deal for this trip. But it took me by surprise. To be fair, they did mention it on their websites, but I didn't really pay attention. Just a small change for those who may be expecting that sofabed and that extra space. Other than that, it was a good stay. Breakfast was nice. The good thing is that you could use the Hilton app as a remote control for the TV once you're in the room. That was a good feature. Unfortunately, the app was down less than 24 hrs after I checked in."

"The hotel was fairly nice. However, the fire alarm went off 9 times after 8pm. This made for a horrible experience. Called the front desk and they had no answers. Let's just say I should not have been charged for my 1st nights stay, or offered a discount. It was definitely not something I ever wish to experience again. No apologies for the inconvenience, nothing. Will I ever stay there again? Nope! I understand it wasn't their fault, but communication would have been nice..."

"The rooms are fully equipped, full size refrigerators, microwaves, ovens, movable tables… And refreshing decor. Each room has a large window, looking out on the beautiful words that surrounds this sweet hotel by the beach."

"We had a good stay. Room was clean and service at the front desk was really nice. They have a good breakfast selection and are a pet friendly hotel. Our only complaint is that the bathroom smelled as soon as we walked in. Could be how the vents are set up. Sprayed lysol all over the bathroom and it helped some. They have good areas to walk your dog and they pool area is nice. Good snack bar too!"
