Parrot Nest Cottages

"2nd year we were unable to use out condo due to Ian repairs so stayed at Parrots Nest. Clean, quiet and great location. Lighthouse side of the island so getting off the island was much, much less traffic. We used the bikes often and enjoyed our private patio. Full size fridge, smaller stove/oven, comfortable beds. Beach chairs and umbrella provided along with beach wagons if needed. Counter space was very limited in our unit so it made doing dishes or preparing anything difficult. Overall stay was amazing and I highly recommend the Parrots Nest."

"The Parrots nest- Macaw cottage #3 was the perfect spot for my recent trip to Sanibel. The property was quiet and well maintained. Access was easy. Thank you! I will definitely be back!"

"My wife and I stayed here for 12 days during our honeymoon. It was the perfect little cottage for what we wanted. Close to the beach, close to some shops, and very comfortable inside as well. The countertops were granite and looked very new. Beautiful shower too. Half way through our stay our AC unit stopped working unexpectedly in the afternoon. We called the emergency line for the cottage and they dispatched a tech to fix it. The tech did not come that night, however, this was not at fault of the property owners. In the morning we called again and they said the tech simply misunderstood. He arrived shortly after in the morning and fixed the unit. The property owners apologized and gave us credit for 1 nights stay as a result of sleeping without AC for one night which was very generous. We highly recommend Parrots Nest to anyone staying at Sanibel. Here are some pictures taken just outside the cottage."

"... beyond disappointed when we arrived for check-in. "Pictures are Deceiving"!! Although online represents "newly refurbished" floors and counters, the rest of the cottage was not even 1 star worthy. NO weatherstripping across the entry door. Broken blinds, Rusted interior and exterior Refrigerator. The bed was not even close to comfort worthy. AC unit on the wall was smelly with Stained curtains across the windows. Rusted Door Hinges, Exterior electric and AC lines corroded and the cottage smelt like pee! Needless to say, we didn't stay. Parakeet Cottage 6 has a long way to go to make 3 Star status let alone 5 star status would require complete rehab of the unit !"
