"No need to spend big bucks at the chain hotels in order to have a great place to stay. This hotel in in the heart of Englewood, very clean and comfortable. Several places to sit outside and enjoy the morning, very convenient and walkable location. Don't let the fact that this is an older motel turn you off. Our room had a couch, table, and kitchenette. All of which were in great shape. We commented multiple times how glad we were that we didn't waste our money on "nicer" hotels that were double the price and twice the distance. This will become our go to place whenever we are in town visiting. Since my first review, we have returned twice. The owners could not be nicer. We look forward to many returns."

"Oh my gosh this place and these people deserve EVERY BIT of recognition they get for an amazing destination. Ana is ADORABLE!! She and her family work tirelessly to make sure you have everything you need. The little touches don't go unnoticed!! It's so true what another reviewer said: Don't waste your money on one of these expensive impersonal locations when you can spend less & have SUCH a sweeter & more memorable experience here!! LOVE the vintage style!! Also this little hotel is RIDICULOUSLY located in THE BEST spot. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, thrift stores and just up the street from the beach! Additionally the pool is a comfortable area to hang out and it's even heated! Ana let us borrow beach toys for our daughter and even a double beach chair. We wanted to grill and presto, a grill appeared for us! We wanted for NOTHING due to their excellent & kind customer care. Do yourself a favor and come stay here. "My friend and I spent some time here over Thanksgiving. First, the owner is absolutely amazing. So kind! The rooms were great with a nice big bathroom. You can take a nice walk across the street from McDonalds too. We saw some manatees on our walk one morning."

"What a gem of a lil hotel. My wife and I actually discussed how nice it would be to actually live here. We stayed in room #8 and it was very clean, smelt amazing and the bed was very comfortable. The wool was clean and conveniently across from OUR room. Service was impeccable. I have to sleep with a fan running for some reason and the gentleman brought me a fan from the office and offered to bring coffee while on his way. You don't run into this kind of service these days. Highly recommended and we would most definitely come back."
