Last year my daughter was in a severe car accident. When she recovered, this was her one request was to come here again. It was a much need vacation. Thank you staff"

"We stayed at the location for 2 nights, we originally booked for 3 nights but left early due to the issues. The location is absolutely beautiful, but with its beauty comes horrible horrible disgusting customer service. Do NOT book here until they get a new property manager. The property manager Nina, cursed and sent nasty emails when we expressed concerns about the AC not blowing in the bedroom, broken plates, sand everywhere, drain clogged in the kitchen, food still in the sink. Then proceeded to make up lies about things we never said. Not to mention in the description it says there’s a sleeper sofa in every unit, also says sleeps 3 people per unit. The property manager told us there was no sleeper and that she expected 3 people to sleep in one king sized bed. The walls are also really thin. The only good customer service experience and their saving grace was the owners family friend Sam, who came and addressed the mess we walked into. Went above and beyond to make things right, as it should be. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years and never in my entire career have I seen a PROPERTY manager CURSE at a customer that is paying $300 a night to stay somewhere. I feel bad for the owners that clearly do not know the disgusting people they have working for them. The house keepers also came into our unit unannounced without knocking while my grandmother was alone taking a nap. They claimed “Oh we thought you left.” It was day 2 when they came. It’s a shame, such a beautiful place is absolutely being destroyed by their customer service. Absolutely disgusting the way we were treated. I will GLADLY provide screenshots of the emails as I have the ENTIRE thread saved."

"a paradise in a still sleepy part of Charlotte county. everything super clean, no bugs and only a 10 second walk to the sea... what more could you ask for?! All utensils for cooking are available and we also had a dishwasher in unit 1... very neat house! we were very satisfied. we had two rooms with a king bed and in another room 2 queen size beds for the uncle and the children.... the night wasn't exactly cheap, but we would have booked a hotel. then we would need 3 rooms at 160 usd each, and that without a kitchen... all good, money saved and a wonderful time spent right by the sea."

"We would definitely stay again! Everything was super clean and contactless check-in was easy. There was enough room in unit 6 for our family of 5. The kitchen was stocked with ample dishes/cups/silverware. It was so convenient to be right on the beautiful beach and have towels/beach chairs/umbrellas supplied. Restaurants and grocery stores were close by. Other guests were friendly. We couldn’t get one shade down and staff responded and came to take care of it in good time! I have only positive things to say about the Island House!!!"
