"I booked a room at the Belleview Inn for just one night. The purpose of our trip was to play golf with friends who live in the area. Six days before our visit I sustained a Medial Meniscus Tear of my knee. I have documentation from my doctor and called Belleview the next morning after my injury. They refused to reimburse me for the one night stay. They readily cancelled my one night stay, but continued to charge me for the one night. "Once the full room charge is applied one week in advance, there's no way to refund you. That's our policy" I should have kept the reservation and then become a "no show" so they don't double charge for the same room. I'm sure they will have no problem booking that room since they were full. Pretty poor customer service. Word of advice: Don't get injured when you are a week out from staying at the Belleview Inn!"

"This is a hidden gem. I have stayed here twice, once during Covid and recently in 2024. The inn is quiet, clean, safe, filled with charm. Rooms are lovely, clean and have great views. The pool is warm and stunning! Free bikes, friendly service and a beautiful neighborhood. Gated entrance and located on a beautiful golf course. Added bonus is their sister hotel on the beach in Clearwater. Lovely!! Free valet, great beach for shells and walking and exceptional restaurant and hotel. Great way to expand your trip. Worth it and very affordable!!"

"Stayed here for a wedding. Overall, the hotel was nice, though it was pretty overpriced for what it was - they definitely took advantage of the fact that the people staying at their hotel were there for a wedding. The service was so-so. It's next-to-impossible to contact the hotel via phone or email. They outsource their "helpdesk" to India, and the representatives on the phone are not helpful, and flat-out give wrong information (I was told I would need to transfer rooms in between days during my stay, for no reason). Also, the hotel's only serious food option is at the local country club. When I went there for dinner, I was treated like a second-class citizen (the bartender made an off-color joke that I "wasn't a member," so it's fine if I give up my seat at the bar). Not the best experience, but it was a nice wedding venue, so that does make up for the negatives."

"I live in this community. So I've not stayed at the hotel. I've gone over for a drink and a sunset watch.. glorious! It's VERY quiet. I always joke I would cone here, get a room for 6 months if I were writing a book. I'd just hole myself up and CREATE! Lots of great history w documentaries to watch!"

"Such a hidden gem! Everything about this visit was AMAZING! Great hospitality and service. Lisa was The BEST, so nice and sweet, she gave great tips and info to make my stay worth while.The hotel is beautiful and the views of the beach are nice also. The hotel is located next to the country club and in a community with lots of condos. Quiet and family friendly. There’s lots to do. I rented bikes. My only complaint is the added cost to the bill for services(parking, beach access) I wish it was just added to the bill when it was reserved."
