Reviews of Charleston on 66
"To Start off, i don't think i deserve this place. Charleston is an amazing place full of finer things at UNBELIEVABLY reasonable prices. They got community amenities (pool area, game room for parties, a private gym thats got freaking free weights) and heck, they even do community get-togethers at the front area. Like just to do it. The rent prices for what I got is unreal, a 3b2b that ALSO came with most appliances already in it no extra charge. A beautiful scenery around entire complex and most of the Tenants I've seen are just, nice people. So you can understand why i didn't feel like i "should" be here, but Thanks to Melina and Nicholas at the front i changed my outlook immediately. They helped me out and got me set up for Charleston almost too easily and I've been hooked since. The two really helped me out with the move in process and other day to day questions i had after i moved in (i had alot). They made me feel that I do belong here, and i mean for the price i honestly cannot blame them."
"Pros: office staff is super nice & easy to deal with. The maintenance crew will fix any issues inside the unit within a reasonable time. The inside of the unit is pretty updated. Now for the cons which most definitely out weigh the pros. We broke our lease early bc I couldn’t handle walking through the filth. The hallways are ALWAYS disgusting. I can honestly say within the 11 months we lived there I can’t say I never saw them being cleaned. Like I really want to emphasize on how nasty they are. If you have to use an elevator be prepared to constantly have to step over dog urine/ poop, spilled drinks, etc.The property grounds have trash everywhere, and dog poop. They make it mandatory that you have valet trash and then Come at different times every day. There was a 3 month stretch of the fire alarms going off non stop- while I was trying to work from home. The police are on site a lot! Also, there are homeless people who live on both sides of the fences and do utilize the car wash station( when that works- bc usually that’s not properly working). Parking is terrible if you arrive after 7 pm. Also, Amazon packages are NOT delivered to your door- they are delivered to a mailroom, we had multiply packages get stolen from the mailroom."
"Please review “real”—substantive reviews either several sentences, not the ones with one lines. Floors and the whole building is frame, meaning you will hear your neighbors on the sides and above you. Staff Does NOT respond to emails. Amenities are ok, but you pay premium price for all of them which you will barely use. Yes, there’s a homeless person lives next to the apartment, and the police comes quite often. Not a safe area. Moved out finally; will not consider again."
"I absolutely love living at this apartment community! From the moment I moved in, Jenn and Melina made me feel right at home. The amenities are top-notch, and the maintenance team, especially Tito, is always quick to respond. The location is great with easy access to a lot of shops and restaurants. I couldn't ask for a better place to call home!"
"It’s alright . Amenities are nice and staff is super nice even though they kinda suck at emails . That being said half the stuff is broken which all renters pay for monthly. Fire alarms go off frequently and a homeless guy lives on the fence of the property. New members of community are horrible will dump their trash in the parking lot on a daily basis . Cmon people you live here clean up after yourselves . Walls are pretty thin if you work a 9-5 like most people I wouldn’t recommend the second floor."
