Reviews
"The rooms are a highlight. The two bedroom suite was perfect for us with three teens. The rest of the hotel was lower quality than expected. Easy access to Disneyworld if you have a car. Did not use shuttle service."
"Rooms are very nice and spacious. Master bedroom with the king size bed was missing a closet. Beds are comfortable and pillows are soft but too soft; need to have more support. The breakfast was well organized and had decent selections. More fruits, grits or gluten free cereals would be great."
"I'm not someone who usually writes reviews, but this hotel was so good I NEEDED to. We got a 2 bedroom suite (1 king bed in one room, 2 queens in another), with a kitchenette and surprisingly, TWO BATHROOMS! What's nice is you can also control the AC individually in each room. Most hotels will give you a grain of shampoo, but this hotel gave us entire bottles filled with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! The kitchenette was nicely stocked with plates, cutlery, a decent-sized fridge and a cooktop. The room service/cleaning was also great! Now, the breakfast was on another level. Usually hotel breakfasts aren't very impressive, but this hotel knocked me and other hotels out of the PARK with their breakfast. It's great! They also had a nice pool you could go into, as well as a hot tub and kiddie pool. The location is great as well since it's close to Disney and many nice restaurants! Overall, I loved this hotel and if I do come back to Orlando, will most likely stay here!"
"To preface this review - the staff were amazing and super courteous. HOWEVER, the building was clearly nicer at some point in years past. Now? Not so much. A lot of what I'm seeing are band-aids and poor maintenance that indicate this business is cutting costs on maintenance, but not cutting the price of their rooms to match quality. Dirty(or what appeared to be dirty) ottomans, a door frame with a large void rusted out at the bottom, atrocious paint quality. They filled the dove body wash bottles with that nasty yellow soap from the gym that strips all the moisture from your skin - mind you a recent stay at a CHEAPER Holiday inn was routinely refilling with decent dove soap. Badly rusted door hinges on the verge of failure CAKED in paint with rust peeking through on the bathroom doors. Ugly corroded drain hardware in the shower, undersized shower curtain that easily let water out, a rim of mildew around the bowl of our sink. Everywhere I turned, there were inexpensive issues that could've easily been replaced or repaired PROPERLY. This place is easily shown up by the average mid-level motel. I'm very disappointed in the quality I got when paying for a "decent" hotel. I really feel like saving a few bucks on a motel would've given me the same results. I expected more for the extra money. At least it's quiet?"
"This hotel is not worth being a Disney Good Neighbor hotel and even less deserves to stand for IHG. The rooms are worn down. They appear to be clean on the first look but once you look in detail you see that they need a deep clean and renovation. At night rooms are very noisy. The property is huge and has a lot of rooms. Breakfast at this property is okay food quality is a 7.5/10 but it’s quiet crowded at times. Major problem at this property is -> POLICIES. One employee enforces them as if they own the place other employees don‘t care. The front desk manager is very rude and has a very slick mouth. If you are traveling for business AVOID this property as they can not accommodate changing plans. If you have late checkout you can‘t extend your stay according to the front desk. Late check out means you HAVE TO LEAVE. Never heard this at any IHG property before. If you work for a foreign company make sure to bring a us credit card as the front desk can not accept chip only cards (according to the lady at the front desk). Also according to the front desk here it’s not possible for a company to book your travel on a company card as the card needs to be present. Because if not you will be accused of fraud. The hotel is not what it seems and after spending 139 nights at IHG properties this year this one has to be the worst by far. The positive thing about this hotel is the location. It’s close to the attractions. All in all the staff at this property should be replaced the only person that seems to care and actually have customer service skills is the assistant manager. If you want to be yelled at for asking simple questions feel free to head straight to the front desk the lady working the morning shift will be more than happy to raise her voice at you. The only good thing is that the main IHG support is understanding of the issues and willing to help. The price of this hotel is no where near justified either you can stay at the intercontinental for the same price and at least get nice rooms. Unfortunately when traveling for work you can‘t always choose."
