Reviews of Motel 6 New Port Richey, FL
"Folks, it's a dump ! I live and hour away and wanted to hit this place for a New Years Party. I didn't want to be driving. I paid $55 for this place. Hmm, don't know if the shower work bc I refused to use it. The plumbing on the sink has a large gape in it - everything you pour in the sink goes right out onto the floor. I did turn on the TV but had to program it from the back manually( no biggie). We had a cold spurt New Years so can't say if the AC works. Room in general is pretty beat-up. No bed bugs, just roaches. Just know there isn't a refrigerator or microwave. I bunked in (almost) worst 3rd word countries. I extra barricaded the door. Lock is pretty shot. I would never take my family here but if you're gonna be celebrating and need to get off the road - then this is your place. p.s. I'd bring your own pillows, sheets, cups, etc cuz it has none of that. Careful of the parking lot creatures."
"My sister and I booked online here for supposedly 6 days. When we got there, the guy at the front was friendly. The building is worn down. When we went up to our room, I was completely shocked. The room smelled like mold, the floor was very dirty, and the bed sheets smelled terrible, were damp, and had stains on them. The top door lock was broken and the bottom lock wasn't working. Who is responsible for this? They should pay people to stay here, not the other way around. This place is filthy! Those bed sheets need to be thrown in the garbage. This is unacceptable and disgusting. We did not stay more than one minute. We ended up leaving as fast as we could."
"I stayed here for 4 months n it was great... beds are comfy, people are nice, staff is great. My man got into it with front desk so we were asked to leave! But I truly can't say anything bad about them..."
"Was charged almost $600 for a week for a room that smelled of mold, the key wouldn't work properly, there were roaches in the room and no blanket on the beds. When I went back to to office to complain, I was told the blankets for the beds were between the fitted sheet and the top sheet! I told the girl at the front desk I wanted my money back because I would not be staying and she said she was "Not Authorized" to refund my money and that the manager was in a "Meeting" and she didn't know when he would be finished with said meeting and to try the following day. My friend that was with me told me about the maid that stated that the blankets were between the sheets was a drug addict the girl at the front desk replied with "No she's not, she just works very hard and we drug test" .... Then my friend shows me a video of the employee high as a kite. This place is not worth the money that they want! You can stay at a better motel/hotel for what they want!"
"The beds are the most comfortable beds I have slept in since my own $5,000 pillow top bed I have I can't even begin to explain how comfortable it was That was the best part of my stay. They've got great big flat screen TVs and they're in the middle of redoing things and sprucing it up little by little but for the money it was so worth it The bed itself was worth it what it cost to stay there."
