Landmark Holiday Beach Resort

"The room looked like it needs to be remodeled. Everything is clean, but looks old. The front desk staff is very friendly. On arrival, the normal supplies always in the room were not there. No bars of hand soap, no boxes of tissues, no clothes washing soap, no coffee pack. These are small details, but all are at other places. One last thing that I haven't seen in 20 years. On a note left in the room said, before leaving at end of the week you must strip your bed, pile up all towels, empty your trash then walk your trash to the end of the building. Also wash your dishes (we do that everywhere). Also check out time is 10 AM. Not 10:01. You will be charged $25 for each 15 minutes over their time limit. Get with the times. We haven't done any of this for over 15 years."

"My knee went through the bathtub. Apparently it had already been plastered up but never replaced. The material was paper thin in the bathtub. My entire trip was ruined. This happened Christmas day and I had only been there since early Sunday morning. This place could really use renovations. As you can see it was holes in the walls and rust in the freezer. Even three light bulbs were out in the dining area. Maintenance suggested to patch up the hole the next day and we could remain in the unit. I refuse because of safety concerns so we were moved to another unit."

"Caleb was amazing. Here assisted when the remote had no batteries and then he helped with getting the TV's operating. The beds needed to be updated unless you liked sleeping in the ruts the floor would have been better. One room smelled like mold. The location was nice with great views especially of the beach and sunset."

"The view was fantastic right on the beach. The unit was a great size very comfortable. However it needs allot of updating. Tiles coming off the ceiling, holes that were patched filthy carpet in the bedroom. Their cleaning staff needs to be fired. Popcorn and Cheerios on the floor in the kitchen and bathroom, dirty sliding glass doors with sticky kids hand prints, dust all over bathroom vanity cabinets. You have to pay if you want clean towels so you have to wash the ones you use all week I don’t think we will stay there again."

"More than 40 years ago, I purchased a week here. It was during Spring Break. As a young single guy, in his early 20s, it was the perfect vacation. I bought a consecutive 2nd week 8 months later. I loved it here, I loved it so much, My wife and I now live in PCB. I don't live on the beach, but I do live half a mile from it. I still come to the Landmark, every year. Yes, it's no longer the newest, or tallest build on the beach, as it once was, but it's still in great shape, and you can't beat the views."
