"Beautiful inside and out! So close to public beach access and the state park trails. Everything you may need is within walking distance to this location. Very clean and thoughtful in design. I loved having a kitchenette in my room. All the utensils were available in the kitchen area. The staff was really friendly and were a joy to see during my stay. Will stay again!"

"We were in town to oversee repairs of our home in Watercolor. We called Watercolor Inn but rooms there were too expensive for our needs. Their desk referred us to Lodge on 30a as it is owned by St. Joe properties as is the Inn. We were extremely delighted with every aspect.. Friendly staff, clean, sleek, modern and comfortable. I am very particular about bedding but my husband and I had a great night’s sleep. I agree king size pillows of softer quality would be a nice addition but overall we loved the Lodge. Our November rate was extremely fair for the quality of this lodge. I recently paid much more for an extremely low end room in Ft. Worth. I was scared for my safety and would never recommend Extended Stay America in a room that didn’t even provide a cup for water! We highly recommend The Lodge 30a."

"The location is nice. The lobby was decorated nicely, but did not have a reason to go there. It would have been nice if coffee had been available there. Although the room had 2 cups, we still had to leave the hotel to get more. The bed was comfortable enough but the pillows needed upgrading. The shower was awful. Besides the door not opening on the side to turn on the water, the shower head only supplied a mist of water. Also, the tiny shelf in the shower was extremely inadequate. Another shelf is needed on the opposite wall for women to be able to shave their legs. Although we were on the third floor, people were walking around ALL night on the floor above. We could hear every step. However, they were quiet the following night and we could sleep. This is a nice hotel that could be greatly improved by adding a shelf in the shower and replacing the shower head and adding new pillows."

"I was there this past weekend and had a great time. The hotel is beautiful, the staff I encountered were extremely courteous and friendly and the price point…awesome! I really enjoyed my stay; however, I did make it a point to read the reviews prior to going which may have helped me to avoid some of the negative experiences others have mentioned. The hotel itself is reminiscent of a container house, so expect to hear some noise as the walls and floors are fairly thin. I was fortunate to be given a room on the 3rd floor (highest floor) so I didn’t hear any walking/stomping above me. Because I saw that a couple people had complained about the bed/bedding, I came prepared with a small blanket to provide extra padding and/or comfort as well as an extra pillow to my preferred liking. The hallways can potentially get a bit noisy at times, but my experience wasn’t anything too crazy. The rooms have a full refrigerator, microwave, sink, glasses, plates & utensils which can really come in handy when traveling for any period of time. Honestly, for the location and price point (depending on the season)…I won’t complain and would definitely book with them again. Great stay!"
