"It use to be a nice little place to go . You could sit out side and had a water front view but not now . And the rooms are a little small. And it cost me and my husband $165 plus $50 deposit a night . That is just to much"
"This is now called The Forgotten Coast Inn in beautiful Mexico Beach, FL. It is a brand new motel located just across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. Newly rebuilt after Hurricane Michael, the motel offers clean, spacious rooms with modern furnishings including a flat screen TV, microwave, refrigerator, and free wifi. Rates are around $120 nightly and a $50 cash damage deposit is required."
"This is the bottom of the bottom. The room was filthy. What were the orange stains I had to scrub off the wall? Was it spaghetti? Was it blood? Hard to say....not the kind of guessing game one wants in their stay. When we picked up the key the owners aid they had just cleaned the room, after seeing the room I think "just" really meant 1994. Holes in the wall, dirty toilet, I refused to use the shower. Its a budget place but basic cleanliness should be observed. You should only stay here if you are desperate ."
"This was a last minute stay but next time I don't care if the only place available is the actual beach itself with just a blanket, it will be healthier. The website shows an ice machine and drink machine plus fridge in the rooms. So before I made the two hr trip I got just enough ice to keep the lunch meat cold. However upon arriving there was a big sign that said out of order on both machines. Once we checked in the room smelled. My niece opened a window and the door and I actually got some stuff to make the room smell ok for the time being. We get in the room and the fridge was barely cold. So I had to go down the road to get more ice. I knew we wouldn't be in the room much so I decided to try to make the best of it. The kids and I left to go visit friends who were down. By time I got back that night I quickly used bathroom, it was hot in there so left door open so the unit could cool it. I never even saw the shower until the next morning and that's when I got livid!!!!! My nephews had already showered in there. By time I got in there all I saw was mold and mildew! The ceiling was covered in it and the bottom of the shower curtain. I almost gagged. I had my baby niece in there. I kept that door opened all night with the air going blowing that right into our room that we slept in. Never ever again!!!"
"We were visiting a friend in the next town and this motel was the LAST resort! DO NOT STAY HERE. ITS NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!! Carpet was filthy, blanket has stains on it, chair has white stuff all over it, bathroom was dirty with mold in shower and smelled like a urinal, very poor condition hotel, needs updating, room smelled so bad of dinginess that i had to go to the Dollar General and buy cleaning supplies INCLUDING lysol! a/c worked but barely and it was worse than a window unit! Only plus was it was right across from the beach. $110 a night and worst spent money ever. They had the nerve to say the room that had the jacuzzi tub was a romantic room costing $149 +tx a night and there was nothing romantic about it!!!"
