"Dr. Gregg and her staff are simply amazing. We will forever be thankful for their life saving measures provided for our dog. Long story short, he had surgery at another clinic and less than a week after his stitches came loose. Dr. Gregg and her staff were able to get us in immediately and helped us find a clinic to perform emergency surgery on our fur son. We are proud to call New Day in Fleming Island our vet home because of Dr. Gregg and her staff. Highly recommend Fleming Island location."
"It saddens me to have to leave this review. Me and my at times 2, 3 and most recently 4 animals were paying monthly members here. Recently one of my dogs got sick, vomiting everywhere, and she had no appetite. After maybe about $800 worth of tests, the vet had no diagnosis. This is not what has angered me. Not being able to diagnose happens. Unfortunately my young dog died on a Friday. I called the vet on Sunday, when they were open again and informed them. On Monday I received a call from a young lady whose caller ID was that of pet paradise/ new day vet care. With no sympathy or explanation the girl told me it would cost me like $120 to cancel my dogs plan. ( This particular dog was a paying member for well over a year, close to two, in fact. I ask how was I still under a contract termination fee anyway?) I expected this call would be that of a sympathy call, I was completely caught off guard, and I responded “for my dead dog?” this girl then had the nerve to answer that with “ I don’t work here, I was just doing a favor and calling you” I can not begin to describe the anger and disgust this call produced in me. How does a business convey such a lack of respect and compassion to a person within 48 hours of burying their dog? I told the girl I don’t have that right now, I’m still paying people back for the $800 I borrowed for the tests for my Lilly girl, just two weeks prior. She again said she “didn’t work there”….but then rudely told me “I didn’t have to cancel now” meaning I could just keep paying them a monthly fee for my dead dog. I ended that phone call telling her she was rude and had no compassion or intelligence in how she approached a grieving client. The funny thing is I waited to hear back from them again. You would not be reading this review if they would have called me back and talked like adults. I was really hoping Maybe this time they would have had actual management reach out to me, to try and resolve the situation. Needless to say I took steps to ensure they could never charge me again. I never did receive a call from anyone willing to say they work there. However I did start getting calls from their collection agency. (I laugh when that caller ID shows up) Good luck guys, Ive dodged debt collectors for years that had better claims to my money than you. Unbeknownst to them I have two more dogs at home who are new rescues to me, that I was about to bring in and put on their own monthly plans. But these corporate or franchise morons felt it pertinent to stick it to me in my time of grieving over $120. It’s not about the money. I have a great job. And I love my animals. But these guys have no idea how to carry themselves professionally and compassionately. Never again will I recommend them, which I probably sent at least 8 other animal families to. Never again will I use anything other than a privately owned vet. I’ll drive to Georgia if I have to. If you’re reading these reviews to help you determine if you should use them, I’ll tell you two things, the staff are lovely hardworking ppl. But this is a franchise or corporation with no idea how to treat ppl. Money is their bottom line. At the end of the day the staff has no discretion, they must follow corporate rules. As a business they are not smart, they could have continued making a great deal of money off of me, if they would have treated me with respect and not just an entry in their computer. Do not use this place. Find yourself a family owned vet. Someone out here is going to make a lot of money off of my animals. But it will not be Pet Paradise / New Day Vet Care"
"Took my two 3-month-old kittens, Ellie and Greta, in for their first appointment this morning. The experience was amazing. Dr. Gregg and her staff made an impression on me as extremely knowledgeable and caring, and they offer a wonderful year-long wellness plan and online scheduling. I look forward to bringing them back for another check-up in three weeks! -Ben"
"Dr. Gregg and her staff are phenomenal. I have been a technician for 10+ years and it has always been hard for me to find a good general practice Doctor. Dr. Gregg has an amazing bed side manner and I am happy that I found her!"
"Dr. Gregg and the Newday staff are amazing with my fur babies. My Bulldog Harley is a very nerve dog and they are so good with her. They were able to do a nail trim and vaccines with out her freaking out."
