"Not the fanciest or most beautiful shoe store ever, but for what is a shoe store? To be looked at as if it were merely an artistic presentation? Can you reach several boxes for your size in several different types of shoes, take them out, try them on, and take a couple of steps? Eventually deciding with which to leave? At this store, you can. And you may. This Shoe Carnival has a very wide selection crammed into an easy-to-navigate space. Display shoes and prices are all well laid out, with sale deals promptly displayed when applicable, and they detail the date on which the deals expire. Staff were busily working to maintain a high quality level of organization and cleanliness, despite few customers inside the store. A staff member was able to quickly pivot and serve us at the front desk once we had decided on our chosen footwear. She went out of her way to get whatever coupons or deals we may have qualified for processed, so the actual price we paid was less than I was expecting. This is an excellent establishment that, above all else, gives you the brick-and-mortar experience in purchasing a very important article of practical clothing. You know at the time of purchase that you will enjoy what you will be wearing. That is something easily worth a couple of extra bucks over online shopping, if that is even the circumstance. Highly recommended."

"I have given this rating based on cleanliness, customer service, prices, & availability of products. I've never shopped here before and wasn't sure how comparable their prices would be, but they are pretty reasonable. I don't like shopping as much as most gals would enjoy, especially if it's something I NEED for work or school because I feel more pressured to HAVE to pick something out and want to make sure that what I pick is justified for the price and will work for the purpose that in buying it for. So, I made two trips to this store within 3 weeks of each other and they'd already brought it their winter shoes, but luckily still had shoes that I was looking for. I needed flats, but I'm not a "fashionista" so it takes me a long time to figure out what style, price, & comfort will work best for me. The staff here is helpful, but don't "hover" over you or make you feel pressured to pick something. Hence why I returned. I tried in several of their flats on my first trip and by the second trip was able to narrow down my likings. These flats will work for being on my feet anywhere from 4-7 hours a day and allow for me to dress professionally as a student teacher, where sometimes I'm working with students on the carpet or squatting next to desks. They were super comfy me trying them on more than once (and walking around a bit in the store aisle.) The prices were decent and worth the comfort I expect to get from them. (I will do an update at a later time.) Only thing I would say is that because this store is a little limited on space (compared to a bigger shoe store that I've always shopped at in Pensacola), some of the shoes that are on sale can be placed too high on a shelf (which normally keeps me from wanting to ask for help because I'll feel bad if I don't buy it), however, the staff was pleasant and willing to assist in any way guilt-free. Lastly, the cleanliness & customer service made it more comfortable to sit and take my time trying on shoes, along with the reassurance that if after wearing them around the house for a few days & if I wasn't happy, I could return them.
