"We have been around animals of all sizes all of our lives. One of our Scottish Terriers became violently ill all of a sudden the other night. I walked him out, but he was eating way too much grass to regurgitate and vomiting too often for me to be comfortable with it, so I scrambled, at 11:30 PM. ....to find an "Emergency" Vet . I have , in the past, had to use another one in this area. Let's just say....;that it was a less than positive, and very expensive experience. THIS...WAS DIFFERENT! The girl on the phone couldn't have been nicer. She said "Come right away. Bring him right now! We will meet you at the door!. VERY...reassuring. I drove the 45 minutes out there. Now...it's past midnight. When I arrived....sure enough....she was there waiting! FIRST....she asked me about "Mac"....and how he was. He was coming out of it a little so I filled out a very brief entrance form. The girl took us immediately into an examination room, and a Veterinarian came in almost immediately after! I wasn't used to that. What I was used to....is waiting a long time elsewhere. The Vet checked Mac out, reassured me that he was going to be OK....and made some suggestions....which I agreed to. He gave Mac an anti nausea shot, hydrated him a little....and I requested a blood panel to be sure. 15 minutes later.....that was done! Mac....had just somehow eaten way too much....of our other dog's food! It was not just after 1 AM. We...were ready to head home. EVERYONE....even some of the clients who were in the waiting room.....were amazingly nice.....and attentive! I have used lots of Veterinarians over the years ....but never been treated this well. ( I don't know how they do it....at that time of the night!). I.....will NEVER go anywhere else. It was a VERY POSITIVE experience from phone call to the end.....and Mac is fine now!"
"I was very hesitant to come here since the reviews weren’t as good as other hospitals in the area but it was the closest and my general vet recommended it so I figured I’d give it a shot and I’m so glad I did. I had a great experience with Dr. Madison and the rest of the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I thought that everything I was charged for during his 2 night stay made sense and I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of and charged for unnecessary things. Even the cost was relatively fair for being an emergency pet hospital. Overall, I’m happy with the experience I had here and would return if I ever needed to."
"If I could give a 0 I would. I took my bunny who out of the blue was healthy 1 day and seizing on the floor the next. Took him in at late hours of the night, drove a whole hour cause the city I live in does not see exotic animals. They took him in, less than 2 minutes later Dr came out and said " your bunny died" as he looked at my shocked face, he said " what? U thought he wasn't in critical condition?" .. what kind of question is that??? obviously I wanted to save him. the way Dr talked to me was disrespectful and unpleasant. Kinda like telling someone you have cancer and asking, " what? You thought you didn't have cancer??" He needs to go back to school and learn therapeutic communication. FOH."
"Maggie, our Scottie, had a run in with a Cane Toad. We took her to the hospital. They were caring and compassionate. Kevin Oomah DVM professional, caring and considerate. Our experience could not have been better. Thank you!"
"Chubbs had bitten a cane toad…it all happened so fast, we rushed him to the hospital where they immediately took him in and saved his life…Great group of people, Definitely recommend."
