HCA Florida Haines City Emergency

"Went in today to be checked out due to the symptoms of me having pain in my neck and pain when swallowing. i didnt get swabbed here or anything, dr just assumed allergies!?!!!!!! how can u assume something without swabbing! anywho i went to lakeland regional for a second opinion, where i was SWABBED! and came back that i had upper respiratory! never coming back to this freestanding emergency, HCA is no good . wont be back"

"Took my daughter here in the morning while on vacation. Got to the room, there was blood on the bed, they came and cleaned it up. We waited 30 minutes before asking if anyone was coming. They checked her eyes, ears and throat (15 Minutes). Gave her a prescription for her ears...we waited another 30 minutes before asking if we were ok to leave. The bill was $4,900.00."

"As a fellow doctor who worked in emergency medicine for 12 years before just recently moving to Florida, this has to be the worst ER experience I’ve ever had, came in with shortness of breath, no other patients in ER, male nurse seemed irritated I had to come in on Christmas and interrupt their quiet ER time. Never again! I’ll be sure to warn my patients about this ER."

"Second time at this location, this time is for my daughter. Both times it's been very warm in the building, to the point I am fanning myself with something, the staff could show a little more compassion, the triage nurse was paying no attention to what he was doing while I was wheeling my daughter out of the room & hit her foot that she is here to have checked out. He didn't apologize or even acknowledge that he had done it. The whole process is weird they don't call you by name for triage they just say "next" that gets kinda confusing when the waiting room is full. Vending machine is out of order and only accepts cash (hardly anyone carries cash anymore) no respect from other people waiting to be seen, they are extremely LOUD like there aren't other people sitting nearby."

"Brand new full service Emergency Room! Hubby had a fabulous nurse (Flora) who has a great personality and knows her job well. Loved Dr. Davidoff. Ordered all the tests to figure out my husband's stomach issues. Super personality, kept us updated all throughout the process and overall we couldn't have been more pleased with everything!! Thank you to everyone who assisted us with his care. You rock!"
