"The staff was great. He had a head injury and they put us at ease. They did a thorough exam and tests and explained everything to our satisfaction. They made us feel like we were the only ones they were treating and were very attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend them. The EMTs were wonderful too. God bless all of you!"
"Best experience in any healthcare facility (Especially a hospital setting!!) the staff were great!!! They were kind. Everything was efficient. We were out of state from NC and on vacation for thanksgiving!! Worst case scenerio! They got my son in and out quickly- treated and feeling better within a few hours even before we left!! I cannot say enough thank yous to them! Can you please bring this excellent quality care to my area?!"
"All of the staff were so incredibly kind and compassionate when I brought my 1 year old here. From the check-in staff to the nurses and doctor, they were all hands-on and ready to help in any way they could. As a first-time mother, the stress of having a sick child is something I haven’t dealt with until this week, and the kindness that they showed my son and I quickly melted away my anxiety because I knew we made the right choice coming to this hospital."
"Went to pediatric ER for mental health issue. They were so kind & understanding about what my child is going through. The nurse stayed by my child's side the whole time. I didn't catch her name, she had a accent. Truly a angel. Dr was great as well. Explained what to do & what to expect. Security got me a ride to my car since I parked by the adult ER by mistake. Definitely impressed with pediatric ER."
"I wouldn’t say the care necessarily was bad. They did their jobs and they made sure my son was okay. But at the end of the day it was no different than any hospital. Doctors tell you to take children to these places cause the people there are there specifically for kids. Therefore it should be a better experience for children right? Not really. I told them he was autistic and that he has an a hard time with people touching him. I feel like they really just kind of brushed it off and didn’t try to be patient and make it a good experience. They were just ready to make me hold him down and get it over with. We were In There for like 5 hours for a chest x ray and a urine sample and he hadn’t eaten all day. I asked if he his grandmother could bring In something for him to eat and the nurses seemed to almost get irritated with me that I was talking to them at their desk. I know they’re busy, but my son is three and hadn’t even gotten breakfast that morning and it was almost 4:30pm. Anyways like said , they did their jobs. But I felt like all of the nurses were more suited for adult hospitals. Definitely didn’t feel like they tried to make it easier on him except for one nurse."
