"My Bully Pit has had a bad rash for months now, and it got worse. After learning of the food allergies of the breed, that helped cure it slightly, but no vet was able to help any further. I decided to go to this VCA and the medication they suggested cured my pit within a couple of weeks! He even stopped scratching himself after a few weeks. His skin is gorgeous again! This place is great!"
"Came here on a Sunday as an emergency and I must say the Dr. Feldt and his assistant. Wow amazing service and attention. Will definitely be coming back here. They explained everything and super knowledgeable."
"Dr. Meacham is the greatest to ever do it! Always so helpful and caring! I’ll drive the hour there and back just for her because I know my babies are in good hands and they know it too! Her compassion is just ONE reason that makes her incredible"
"Dr Meacham is GREAT! I highly recommend your cat go to her. She is so thorough, detailed, and you can tell that she cares about your cat like it’s her own. My baby is 18 years and has been going to Dr Meacham for awhile."
"This vet is fine for vaccinations and minor conditions but not very helpful for major injuries. This morning I was at the clinic when they opened because my cat had a serious injury. His tail was broken in multiple places and lacerated. When I spoke to the staff, they told me that the vets would see him at around 9 AM, which I appreciated since I didn’t have an appointment. However, without an exam, they also told me that most likely the vet would examine him, take X-rays, and then send him to LeadER emergency animal Hospital. (Side note: I have been to LeadER before and their prices are outrageous. They once gave ma almost $10000 estimate for a cat that was vomiting without looking at him. They like to use their special machines). As I have had a lot of experience with veterinarians working in animal care for many years, I was surprised to hear that the veterinary staff at VCA Pines West routinely sends cases like mine out. So, I told the staff that I would check with my old veterinarian who’s office opened an hour later. I’m glad that I did. The vet from my old neighborhood saw my cat by 8:30 and didn’t need an X-ray to know my cat needed surgery. The vet then rearranged his whole schedule in order to operate on my cat and my cat is now recovering. So thankful I left VCA."
