The kindness, attention to detail, and knowledge demonstrated by Dr. Gonzalez and his amazing staff is beyond compare! I am so grateful to have found this vet, and you will be too! As if the level of care was not enough reason to trust Best Friends, their prices are also unbeatable! I have paid more than double with other vets who failed to diagnosis and treat the issues. Although I must travel 1.5 hours to Best Friends, there is literally no one else I would trust to protect the health and wellbeing of my precious fur baby."

"Don't let them administer shots without consent. He may have drug companies in his pocket but "Convenia" is banned (in the UK and Canada) for a reason. My baby died wiithin 70 hours. Always get oral antibiotics. Not a shot that lasts 65 days. Diabetes was managed with him for 1.5 years. Dr Gonzalez examined him, said "glands feel good, heart sounds good." And came back in the room with a needle. No paperwork to show an idea of what the plan of care was. No mention of what was in the syringe. Just kept saying "it's done". If you don't want (or aren't qualified to) deal with a problem, let the parents know. I found out what was administered and a quick online search had me horrified. The place that cremated him and his other vet sent sympathy cards. You all felt too guilty or what? So what were the medical issues you decided to not talk about? I could have addressed them if that were the case. Case and point. It wasn't a skin infection. Now what? You didn't even find out what the swelling was."
