When I called this office to inquire about the pricing for a pap smear without insurance, I was given a price. However, I was never informed that an additional charge of $240.00 would be billed separately by a third party. Upon contacting the office to address this issue, I was informed that they cannot provide a total price since they don't know the specific procedures the doctor might perform. However, it is common knowledge that a pap smear typically involves sending samples to a lab. It would have been crucial for the office to disclose this information when someone calls asking for pricing, especially if the patient doesn't have insurance. I was seeking accountability in this situation, but unfortunately, I was only met with a response suggesting that I should have been aware of this information already. It's disheartening to encounter such a lack of transparency and customer care. I hope my review serves as a helpful warning to others who may find themselves in a similar situation. Clear and upfront communication regarding additional charges is essential, particularly when dealing with individuals without insurance."
