"I am happy to write this positive review of Dr. Holly Durning & Associates, Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine. I can clearly say that under the care of Dr. Durning and her excellent team of doctors that they have been responsible for major improvements in my health and wellness. I am a senior, who has been very active up until I had become very sick and hospitalized for a variety of reasons. During that time I came to Dr. Durning almost a year ago because one of the many issues that began to be identified post-hospitalization was neuropathy and some possible related neurological issues that were debilitating me. Never having been to an acupuncturist before I thought it might be beneficial to try this to relieve some of the physical and debilitating aspects of my illness. Almost immediately upon Dr. Durning working with me I realized that her practice went far beyond acupuncture and that it is a full bodied approach to wellness and that her Team had a lot more to offer to help me with my overall health and wellness. She became part of my primary care strategy. I started to share labs and test results from my other conventional specialists as my health was not improving and consequently over the ensuing months I was hospitalized several times, two of them via emergency ambulance trips to the hospital. During this entire time Dr. Durning and her Team listened to me, studied my testing and labs that were being done. Additionally, they recommended other testing that resulted in some very detailed information indicating serious gut and digestive issues (SIBO), inflammation and other infections (Lyme) that clearly confirmed that I was very ill and the solution of herbal medicine could be a positive approach to this situation. Every one of the Doctors made contributions to my treatment strategy and implementation and I am happy to say that the “gut health” plan that Dr. Durning and Team initiated quickly changed my condition and put me on a road to recovery, restored a sense of wellness that I have not had for some time and restored my energy, cognitive health and now I am clearly on the road to recovery and a healthy “normalization”. For the months leading up to this I was at many times completely debilitated, sometimes immobile and in bed. Now I am back to a new normalcy, I put my Fitbit back on and am walking my daily 8000+ steps and fully back to running my business as the creative leader of a software design Team.
