"Worse ran pharmacy in town. Called last week about my prescription since the last 4 prescriptions here were never ready when they were supposed to be. They are always understaffed. Called today and was on hold for an hour and 15 minutes. When I went in store, still on hold, they said the CVS number goes to a "central CVS maybe" and was told maybe tomorrow they will answer the phones. Will never step foot at this location again."

"This review is mainly about the pharmacy, but the store itself never looked that clean or organized either, plenty of empty shelf space in many isles. Initially chose this location for convenience and proximity. However, every time I went there to get tested for covid-19 and/or flu, it took forever, as if the person working the drive through had to put all my information into the system from scratch. Why do I even enter all that on their website and have to upload my insurance card EVERY SINGLE TIME I schedule a test? Very inconvenient. Another time I scheduled an appointment to get vaccines. Covid-19 booster, no problem. For the Flu shot the pharmacist told me it would be $50 because they didn't accept my insurance. My friends (same insurance) did not have any issues at another CVS location. Neither did I when I went to yet another CVS location, received my free flu shot there. Wouldn't all CVS have to accept the same insurance plans? If not, then shame on corporate and the few locations that decline certain insurance plans. Now my doctor prescribed me Tamiflu to help me get over the Flu. After not hearing from the pharmacy for quite some time about filling my prescription, I decided to call them and was on hold for 20 minutes. I hung up and tried again. Luckily this time somebody picked up after 5 minutes. They told me it would be $70 and suggested Walgreens, because they accept Florida Blue insurance. Now I had to contact my doctor again to get the medication filled somewhere else and then wait for Walgreens to fill it, which most likely won't happen today because I wasted too much time with CVS, so I have to wait until tomorrow to feel better. Thanks, this will have been my last interaction with CVS Pharmacy on Golden Gate Pkwy."

"I call at 9am when the pharmacy opens to refill a prescription. I explain to the lady that the prescription is expired and they'll have to contact my NEW doctor - gave her his info- for authorization. She says ok, is going to work on it, we hang up. 3pm, no word. I call and a gentleman answers. He can't find the request for authorization in the system. In essence, nothing was done. I give him all the info again, hang up. 5pm, still no word. I call and another gentleman answers. First, he says an authorization request was not sent. After some debate, he says it was sent. I ask to which doctor, he gives me my previous doctor's name. I proceed to explain to him that I have a new doctor, whose information I have given to 2 other people already. WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?! He says he cannot request authorization from his location. I have to call the last location I filled my prescription at and they will send in the authorization request. I thought all CVS pharmacies were on the same network?? Why didn't anyone tell me this at any point during the day so I can go the appropriate route? Poor poor service."
