"We used Laureen's Pet Sitting Services to stay with our 2 dogs at our house when we had to take a last minute trip for my grandmother-in-laws funeral. I cannot speak highly enough of Laureen! She came to our house to meet us and our fur babies on short notice. My dogs both seemed to like her right away. We were very nervous to leave them and the house with someone we had just met, but we did a lot of research and Laureen had excellent reviews and she even provided us with references. It was obvious from the beginning that she is passionate about animals and we loved that she has many years of volunteer experience at shelters, as well as many years of professional experience with pets, including running a licensed and insured business. Laureen did an amazing job taking care of our dogs! She even sent pictures and a few videos of our dogs playing; they always looked happy, which made me feel better about being away. My older female dog is not always easy to please, but even she warmed up to Laureen quickly. Laureen did an excellent job of communicating regularly and keeping us posted on how the dogs were doing. Laureen was honest and even communicated when my older dog would not eat and vomited a little bile. Unfortunately, this is not uncommon for my dog, Frankie, to do this at times (even with us) and I knew it was no reflection on Laureen. I was grateful that Laureen let me know what was happening and because of Laureen's honest communication it allowed us the opportunity to come up with a solution. Laureen was able to get Frankie to eat some plain rice and turkey, which settled her stomach and made everyone feel better. Prior to this we had only left our dogs with family when we travel, but we had such a positive experience with Laureen that we plan to keep using her services on a more regular basis for mid-day visits with our dogs when we are at work and again in the future when we travel.
