"In November of 2023 I was seen by Dr Zephirin. I should have walked out of the exam room when I saw how dirty it was and unsanitary. But I ignored my gut feelings. I wanted to get my big toenail permanently removed where it had been causing me a lot of pain for a long time. I have had the procedure done previously on one of my other toes when I lived in another state where I had absolutely no issues with the procedure or with the healing process .That being said, Dr Zephirin informed me he does not like doing a permanent total nail removal because it causes more issues. He said he was able to do a partial removal only. He performed the procedure on my toe . Once again I astonished at the lack of sterilization of my toe itself whereas it was a medical procedure being done on it. After weekly follow up visits, he realized it was indeed infected. Heavy growth of staphylococcus. Antibiotics were prescribed,. Continued weekly visits where he still was cutting out toenail material. Another culture of infection, more staphylococcus. But this time I was already in the Emergency Room. I was diagnosed with cellulitis. Hospital made me go see another podiatrist. After 7 weeks of dr Zephirin’s botched surgery, I had to have the entire procedure done all over again to corrects what he had botched. I contacted zephirins office manager several times to work this out with me and to get reimbursed. She basically said that this is all a normal healing process . All kinds of excuses. Apparently she forgot I had permanent total nail removal years ago and I know how it should have been done. Unfortunately, I should have listened to my gut and walked out. They are all about the money and not about my care and my health: sadly. I have requested to communicate with the owner ( Gary D Small) owner of this business s times, but I have never received communication from him.This office should do the right thing. Please, stay clear of this office and find another capable podiatrist that will actually care for you and do no harm. I"

"I went to the office 2 weeks ago for a rash I had on my foot, when I first got to the room I realized how dirty it was, mind you my appointment was in the morning so it looked as they didn’t clean the office, it’s very old and not up to date. The chairs are all worn out. The doctor took a little of my skin out to get it tested, I waited for results and nothing. The office called me saying to go in for a follow up, I asked why I hadn’t received my results over the phone how normally every doctor no matter what they practice will call you results. They said the doctor will give it to me in person, however why would I pay another co pay of $70 just to get a result. They are just finding a way to get money clearly. I called and spoke to a guy and I said I wanted the results over the phone and he said that he couldn’t give it to me. It was the first time I’ve been and would never recommend. I’ve never heard of a doctor office not being able to give you a simple result. It’s not even a serious issue so I’m assuming the result isn’t anything severe that they can’t give results over the phone. Rip off of a place and horrible customer service.. I just won’t get my results then"

"This could have easily been 5 stars review. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and takes his time to get to know you. The clerks are also great. Except for the male clerk. He seriously needs help and cannot be left alone. I gave a phone number to a pharmacy close to my house and he sent me to another one 25 minutes away. I called early in the morning and explained that I misplaced my medication and to send a new prescription. I called the pharmacy and was told that the prescription was never ordered. I called the male clerk and he said that his colleagues was supposed to take care of it. He sent the prescription with the wrong dates and now I have to wait another day for his manager. Terrible service from this clerk…."

"Front desk staff members are extremely helpful and organized, they will assist you with all your problems and questions, including insurance. Doctor is extremely friendly, very confident too which helps provide emotional support and reassurance to those coming for an appointment. Doctor will assist you with all your needs in the most efficient and safe way possible, Doctor will also display several options of medical assistance, in case one does not work as efficient as the patient would like. Would absolutely and definitely recommend to anyone who has the insurance to cover it. Amazing experience."
