"Regrettably, my dog faces persistent anxiety during vet visits, even with prescribed medications and a muzzle in place. Despite the considerable expense, it's disheartening that the vet encounters difficulties proceeding with necessary exams. In my six years working at a different veterinary practice, exams were consistently conducted with care, even when animals displayed apprehension. I'm disappointed by the current situation and hopeful for a more empathetic and effective approach to alleviate my dog's anxiety while ensuring proper care. Also we were 2 minutes late for our appointment and received a call as we were pulling in saying we would be charged a late fee if we were 10 minutes late. I said okay. Meanwhile they didn’t see us until 40 minutes after our appointment time. So we were charged over $200 for an exam room with no exam and a bordetella vaccine that I had to give. We questioned bringing our dogs back to this veterinarian because our previous dog had a dental here and they extracted all her teeth and she passed away less then a week later. I feel it had a lot to do with a dental being done at her age. I don’t think it was appropriate for the veterinarians to recommend a dental with full extractions at her age and when it was brought up to them when I had to bring her in a few days later because of continues seizure, which she never had prior to the dental and extractions I was pretty much laughed at and had a ton of eye rolls at me."
