"The restaurant was empty. We walked in and stood around for a few minutes before anyone came out to seat us. They had no beer but they did offer to go next door and get some. I had a hot bacon spinach salad and added fried chicken on top. It was really good. Mom had a triple decker club sandwich, also really good. Dad wanted something, I forget what, but they were out so he had the meatloaf. There were people at two other tables when we came in. Nobody else came in by the time we left but our service was very slow and nowhere to be found when we needed something. The cake display had been pulled off the floor because it was broken. I asked if they were going out of business. The food was still really good despite the desolate feeling. PS. No, they are not going out of business."

"Ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich with French fries and Cole slaw at 1230pm. Received my order at 105pm. None of it looked good or tasted good. The side of ranch that it came with was actually mayonnaise. The waitress was very friendly and the table was clean. The complimentary corn bread was the most moist I’ve ever had and very delicious. My experience was bad enough that I wouldn’t try to eat here again."

"Not sure what was going on. It was our first time visiting this place. Will probably not go back. Looks run down and has a very Unappetizing menu in black and white. The service? Well we waited about 2 minutes to get seated which is not bad but they were pretty empty everything went downhill after she brought us the drinks and then forgot about us. 10 minutes waiting while both employees were just chatting it up and then took 2 different customers payments and not even come to our table to take our order is just plain rude. The other server, older lady bringing out the food to other tables well, I told her if she could let the our server know we were ready and nothing happened. We walked out and the audacity of the younger girl with the dark hair to say thank you as we were walking out and just keep talking to our server. Thank you for wasting my time."

"Chicken tenders for chicken and waffles were over cooked and tough. Waitress never asked us how our food was anytime after we got it. 2 pieces of bacon for $3.95??? Server was impatient bc we didn’t know what we wanted right away. We had never been here. Home fries were awesome"

"Conveniently located near the post office so I finally checked this restaurant out. Tara is a great server & helped me make my lunch selections. I also enjoyed the complimentary warm corn bread starter. Great homemade food & great service. Thank you."
