"A good bit of a wait, even on a Sunday night. We were told 40 minutes, and it was exactly 40 minutes, and we were sat promptly. The atmosphere is fantastic, live music, and have multiple locations outside and inside to sit. Parking is an adventure, but if you don't mind walking down a block, it's not hard to find a spot. Dejan was our server, professional, knowledgeable, and highly efficient in his job. The food was unreal. We did not wait long for the appetizer, salads, and then our meal. The NY strip had to be the best I've ever had. Highly recommend!"

"Lindy was an excellent waitress and we can't say enough good things about the food! The drinks were great and the food was even better. I got the chicken parm and my husband got the seafood medley. Both were amazing! The roasted garlic and bread paired great with the wine. Lindy was prompt and friendly and made sure out every need was met without delay. 5/5 can't wait to come back here again"

"We were in town visiting when our family said they had to take us to this restaurant. We drove an hour to get here and it was totally worth it! The atmosphere alone was worth it. The restaurant is built in and around trees and is absolutely beautiful! Even though they don’t take reservations, the restaurant is so big we did not wait long. We were first served complimentary bread and garlic. I could have just eaten that. The entrees were delicious as well as the desserts. We tried several! And although the restaurant was packed, you would not know it. The service was attentive and great. We also ordered two big chickens of wine for the group and totally worth it! I highly recommend checking out this unique place!"

"The Garlic in New Smyrna Beach has become our annual birthday celebration spot! This year, we arrived on a Friday evening around 6 pm and pleasantly waited for only 20 minutes before being seated. What added to the joy of our visit was having Alan as our server for the second consecutive year! Alan went above and beyond to make my birthday experience truly memorable. He coordinated with the guitarist to serenade me during our tiramisu dessert, making the celebration extra special. As for the food, our selections were a delightful mix. We savored the flavors of a Caesar salad, chicken Alfredo, a house salad, and the unique almond-encrusted rainbow trout, finished with a delectable orange butter. The day's special, presented on an uncooked lasagna noodle, was an ingenious touch that added to the dining experience. The ambiance at The Garlic is simply magical – it's a celebration full of lights, music, laughter, and, of course, exceptional food! The lively atmosphere contributed to the festive mood, making the evening even more enjoyable. The Garlic consistently impresses with its inventive presentations and delicious cuisine. Coupled with exceptional service, like Alan's attentive care, it's a place that makes special occasions truly exceptional. Can't wait to return next year!"

"We were told to come here by an amazing bartender named Lot from another local bar! Best food and Service we have had by far, you don’t get the service that Kimberly gave us often! Being in the restaurant industry as long as I have you become a critic on everything unfortunately, with that being said, Kim was seriously amazing in every way, this was our first time here and we were just blown away! The Caesar salads were unbelievable, the homemade dressing and croutons really made it! Every entree came out perfect and we were talked into carrot cake which was the best we have ever had!"
