"I can not believe I haven't reviewed MY FAVORITE DR OF ALL TIME!! This JEWEL has practically raised me in helping me to understand how to live and cope with an autoimmune disease . When I was 4 years old I was diagnosed with JRA but still was not your average active child. Your not suppose to compare kids but I had a twin and when one child is up all night crying with pain and during the day still in extreme pain something is just not right . My mother took me to over 15 specialist including going to children's Hospital 2 states away to come home with no answers . The day we found Dr Ellen Winters McKnight we could finally breathe a breath of fresh air. Just knowing there was a name that went along with the symptoms and the chronic pain I was experiencing was such a sign of hope . I was able to receive treatment . She said that foreign word Fibro what, Fibromyalgia, that now as an adult I cringe when I hear it because others know nothing about this horrible ugly word and they go off what they think they know.
