"Do not bring your pet to the shaggy dog. I brought my golden doodle to get groomed. When I picked him up he was shaved down to his skin, with multiple cuts. One Being so bad that we need to take him to the vet. When I called the shaggy dog I was told they are unaware of any cuts."

"I took my dog Vina (a small Maltese) for a full grooming today at 11:15 am. They said she will be done by 4:00-4:30pm because she goes through a process of steps that takes time. I called about 4:15, they said she still has 10 minutes to be ready. I arrived 4:30 pm. The dog looked ugly, the hair around the face looked like zigzag and not similar on the two sides. I asked them to fix it and make the tail shorter. He tried but after he finished, the dog was still looking bad with pumps around the face and the chin and he removed almost all the hair on the tail?? In spite of the very bad service, they charged me a high price ($78); I put the dog on my lab (I am on a power wheelchair) and left but at the car, I found my clothes are full of hairs. I put her on the passenger seat which became full of hair and the dog was sneezing and sneezing to clean her nose from the little hairs. I wondered, shouldn’t he have cleaned the hairs before he gives me my dog? When I arrived home, the dog ran to the water and kept drinking like creasy. I asked myself, did they leave her without water for over 5 hours? I found that her hair on the ears is one shorter than the other. The hair around the mouth is not similar on both sides. The dog looks bad and I believe she feels bad too. This is the worst grooming experience I have ever had for Vina, a beautiful calm friendly nice small doggy."

"OMG this groomer is phenomenal! It's taken me 7 years to find a place that actually knows how to bath a cat and do a sanitary shave. The owner and her son are absolutely magical. There professional and have the utmost expertise in animal care. My Persian "Serenity" isn't even agitated after a morning at the spa. I can't say enough. I give Shaggy Dog a million % review. "I LOVE The Shaggy Dog! I have been bringing Belle (Shih Tzu/Maltese) there for 15yrs. They treat Belle like their own. My groomer, Brooke is simply the best. They cut her exactly as I ask, she always looks so pretty & smells so good. The owner, Anne responds quickly & truly cares about the animals & making the owners happy. I recommend them to everyone. 5 stars & then some!!"
